Such pretty cards! I love your designs. I've done toner foiling for awhile & just got my laser printer. I really need to get some of your poly glaze panels to play with. One tip, if you'll hold your carrier sheet level with the minc until it starts to come out the back, there's less chance it could get hung up coming out the back. I've had that happen one time but I caught it very quickly so it didn't damage my carrier sheet. If it gets really damaged from a jam in the machine, you need to toss it & get another one.
Beautiful, Gina! You mentioned that you could try using the negative on white cardstock with “a little adhesive on the top and bottom.” What type of adhesive would you recommend? Thank you!
when you say use it with adhesive top and bottom (on the negative piece) are you saying to not run it through the minc? just paste it right on white cardstock??? if so, I'd love to see that!
Beautiful! Maybe someday you could make some full coverage poly glaze pannels...so the leftover panels could be foiled onto them, so you have a white background instead of a black one like if you foiled it onto a toner sheet. Would be easier than trying to glue it on and get it to not have a bubble. LOL Just a thought...have no idea if that's possible or not.
That's a great idea!! It might show a little through the places where the foil was missing. I haven't been able to get the poly glaze yet but I recall she said it was a light gray. But since it would be even color & it's so light i don't see it being an issue.
Gina you really hit it out of the park on these cards. I think I am going to love these videos. Thanxs for all the helpful hints. I recently got a minc, so I am looking forward to using it and the die set I have to make some beautiful cards.
Absolutely gorgeous cards Gina 💖
