haha! i knew the polite boy kane would have a reason for growling at harvey! he’s much more gentle than my mum’s two basset sisters used to be. one would steal milkbones and while her sister would mostly warn with growls and warning nips, there was a single incident where the nip drew blood. love harvey’s guilty smile! lol he knows he’s been found out!
My huskies used to tease each other like this all the time. Put a bone, treat or toy in a space and then lay close enough to control the space and wait for their sister to come and try to take it. Meanwhile the sister NOT setting the trap would try to sneak closer and closer to get the prize without the first one catching her. So funny to watch, such intense confrontation and drama with almost no motion or noise; just nibbles, nuzzles and grumbling.
Sorry Kane, you've reached the point where even Harvey knows better than to think you're scary. He knows you're just weird.
