    This is one of the best videos I have seen explaining to me why I should treat my Social Security as a bond.

    People need to take into account their own personal life expectancy. Waiting to take SS is fine if you live long enough. People that stuck it out during the 2008 recession made money. If you had a 5 year timeline on your assets, 2008 was not a problem.

    It pays for my house and I get taxes back...which reduces my house payment by 50% in a year..
