Requiring driving classes, safety, defensive driving courses, and speakers. Non of that shit has worked out has it? Folks lost their lives a year ago at the expense of reckless driving. 24 incidents since. A lack of institutional control, lack of respect of the safety of others around them, and just selfish. No accountability, zero self control. These kids think that they are invincible. I’m aware schools across the country all have their own issues. But this is absolutely fucking ridiculous. GA is out of control and they aren’t doing shit about it. It’s time to start having some difficult conversations, and time to make some clear cut decisions.

Doesn't matter what you say, teach, implement, correct, how you punish, threaten. At the end of the day the decision is still theirs and their choice is their choice just take comfort in knowing you taught them the correct way. Ain't know body got time to hold no grown man hand. They are the ones who have to deal with the consequences of their actions and I'm comfortable in knowing I taught my kids the right way and I've told them if they make the wrong choice man up and be ready to suffer the consequences. I'm jot putting money on your books or coming to visit. Deal witth it!😤
It's absolutely not the Universities' responsibility for an *adult's choices* after hours / outside campus events.
As Kirby said, some have been removed from the team, unlike other schools.
This is a social issue - not a UGA "institutional control" issue.

Your job isn't responsible for you when you go out into the world and do crazy stuff.
