- Looking for a propeller for your kayak or SUP?
The ePropulsion Vaquita propeller is great!
It is heaps of fun zooming along!
It has multiple adapters to fit pretty well any kayak or SUP.
The batter is powerful and gives you 70 minutes at full speed and 5 hours at low speed.
It's lightweight and compact for easy travel and storage.
I was super impressed with this little motor.
Plus, it has solved the problem of not being able to drill a motor mount into an inflatable kayak.
So if you've been wanting a trolling motor for your inflatable kayak or inflatable SUP, but you couldn't figure out how it would work, check out the ePropulsion Vaquita now:

Awesome product. Love it
thank you
30 minn kota has 360 watt motor as well. But this seems faster . Low thrust high speed with same rpm.
This is a new one for me. I thought I had seen every sup\kayak motor system out there.
It looks quick in your video . Maybe put a gps on it and see what kind of speeds it can do. And can you tell us the price I’m in the US. Thanks for the review 🤙🏼
Hi Frank, that's a great idea regarding the speed. In the US, check out www.epropulsion.com/ - they will have a local dealer list for you. Cheers, Emily.
Thinking of using this with my red paddleboard. How do you think it will track if I decide to just paddle but still have the prop in place of my fin?
The propeller does cause a bit of drag when it's not turned on - makes it hard work to paddle. But you can just turn it on to low speed and that offsets the drag and you can paddle away!
nice !
it would be really interesting to know at what maximum gps speed your kayak propels
When I get some kind of GPS device, I will tell you!
Looks like it would be fun on my convertible. 😁
It really was fun! I don't know if you can tell from the video, but I was having a great time!
@@OzinflatablekayaksAu I does look like a blast. I did research the system a bit, and if I wasn't having to budget during these strange times I'd be very tempted to move on it. For the time being my paddle is going to have to do.😁 But thanks for the great video, maybe next year!
Liked. Super! Is the shroud around the propeller metal or plastic? Thanks.
Hi! I'm pretty sure the shroud around the propeller is plastic.
@@OzinflatablekayaksAu thanks.
Nice, is it possible to run it remotely via cellphone, apps maybe so u could use it for fishing offshore. Thanks
No idea... that might be a question for Epropulsion. Cheers, Emily.
Looks awesome. Is there a cheaper version than $800?
Hi Jacob! Thank you for your interest in our product. Unfortunately, there isn't a cheaper version.
i realised it doesn't have a 'kill-switch'.. does the motor stop if the remote goes out of range of the battery?
Hi Larry, the idea is that you strap the remote control to your wrist, and it has an emergency on/off switch. So if you become separated from your kayak, you turn it off asap. As for whether the motor stops if it goes out of range of the battery, that is an excellent question, I will have to ask ePropulsion and come back to you. Cheers, Emily.
@@OzinflatablekayaksAu price/performance wise, the Vaquita seems to sit at a favourable spot between the Aqua Marina Bluedrive S and Bixpy J-2; but without a 'kill switch' its quite a deal breaker.. 😕😕
@@DragonScorpio31 ePropulsion got back to me and the motor DOES cut out when the remote control goes out of range. So effectively, a kill switch. yay!
@@OzinflatablekayaksAu i see.. i was told something different by another dealer tho.. 😮🤔
@@DragonScorpio31 Well I got this information from ePropulsion, the manufacturer, so hopefully it's correct. I haven't tested it personally, though, so I can't vouch for it. Cheers, Emily.
Two years later how is this motor and accessories holding up? I am very interested but would like a long term report.
Hi James, this has only been used a few times, but I can confirm that it is working perfectly. The battery is also still in great condition and lasts a long time. This is a very good quality product😃
@@OzinflatablekayaksAu
Wow thanks for the reply.
@@OzinflatablekayaksAu mine not working anymore. Useless piece of shit!
How is it holding up 3 years later?
Hey there borky1987! Still going strong. We use the motor in this video for demos too so its had quite a life! Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Is the motor stil working? Good buy stil?
Yep, had it out last week, still going strong!
@@OzinflatablekayaksAu thanks! For de info! Have fun
Nice but costs more than my kayak!
Mine not working anymore! Useless piece of shit, waste of money!
Oh no! Who did you buy it from?
After how long?
