Don't you have to convert solubility product (Ksp), to solubility (S)? Because the solubility of K2CrO4 is greater then AgCl's, which means it will precipitate later. Does it really have anything to do with the abundancy of Cl- ions? Because you say Ag+ would rather react with CrO4- then with Cl-, that means that the closer you come to the equivalence point, the more it will react with chromate. So the colour change is slightly to soon. :/
"Ksp" is "solubility product" thats not the same as "solubility" You have to calculate the solubility (S) right? 1) Ksp,AgCl = 10^-10 = S.S = S^2 2) Ksp, Ag2CrO4 = 4S^2 . S = 4S^3 You can not directly say that AgCl is more soluble than Ag2CrO4 just by looking at the Ksp-values (If they were to be precipitates with the same number of equivalents then you can say its more soluble by looking at Ksp)

Please recheck... Solubility of AgCl is greater. Power of 10 is in minus... not in plus.
