1 cup freeze dried chicken 2 cup egg noodle 1/2 cup vegetable of your choice 1 Tbs chopped onion 1/4 cup butter powder 1/3 cup powdered milk 1/3 cup cheese powder 1 tsp italian seasoning 1/2 tsp garlic powder Salt & pepper to taste Seal jars. Violá. ❤️ 3 cups of water added to dry mixture Can’t wait!! Thank you
The broccoli and mushroom is a good tip! I love mushrooms and I have both dehydrated broccoli and mushrooms. Maybe a few dried sweet red pepper bits for color
I would’ve never thought to add the butter, milk and cheese sauce powders. We just went thru one of the worst storms (103mphs winds) I had ever experienced. We were without power for many days and several people are still without. I immediately started pulling out my pantry, dehydrated and freeze dried goods and never once worried about being hungry. Thankfully I had a generator so I didn’t lose anything in my fridge/deep freezer. But I was being frugal with the gas I had on hand for the generator, bcz gas was hard to find. I brought in all of my outdoor solar I had in flowerpots, used pool noodles to create stands and then would set several together. Could see clearly and didn’t stub a toe once. Keep those recipes coming Ginny!! You’ve really one up with some good ones.
I love these meals, but I have found that when using pasta, I put pasta in last. I put a coffee filter between the other ingredients and the pasta, so the I don't have so much sticking.
I really like these easy meals in a jar. I have some of the ingredients, but not all (butter and onions I don't have). I also like how you show us how you make it. Thanks!
Hi Jenny! I literally just put together the rice and beans meal in a jar. I made 3 jars with the Thrive Life product's. I am going to try this next. Thank you for all your recipes💕
So instead of adding freeze dried chicken, how about making it (the one with the peas and carrots) and adding 1 can of drained tuna? I think that would be good. Maybe a little cheese powder in it.
I just started getting Thrive products, so this is so helpful ! You've also offered a short term zip bags option which I have a lot of. Thank you for your time and effort
Love that meal in a jar recipe!!! Great stuff and I use your link for Thrive, got 2 of the 10 pack pantry cans of milk last month, delicious !! And it was 65% off, still is I think!!
I am interested in selling Thrive Life. I like your personality better than others I have seen with this product. Are you still a consultant and how can I use you as a consultant on their website?
This is going to be my summer project to make meals in a jar. I’ve bought quite a lot of number 10 cans over the years on sale, now it’s time to make food. Another u tuber ( wicket prepared) also has a bunch of meals. Check her out. 10:21
I’ve heard you comment that egg noodles are NOT as long term. Is this just EGG noodles or your opinion regarding all pasta? Is it because of the egg? I just haven’t heard this before.
1 cup freeze dried chicken
2 cup egg noodle
1/2 cup vegetable of your choice
1 Tbs chopped onion
1/4 cup butter powder
1/3 cup powdered milk
1/3 cup cheese powder
1 tsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Seal jars. Violá. ❤️
3 cups of water added to dry mixture
Can’t wait!! Thank you
Thank you for printing this out, it saved me rewinding and trying to write it! 😊
Thank you so much!!!
Thank you!
thanks for taking them time to do this.
I like this idea. I don't have freeze dried chicken, but the rest could go into a jar and then open a can of chicken or can of tuna. Great plan!

Such a great idea. I appreciate the inspo because my big cans of freeze dried ingredients are intimidating to open and use up.
Rewatched this morning. Hot outside going to stay indoors and make both versions if these meals in jars. So helpful on RV trips too. Thx.👍

Love your videos. Some people just give you the ingredients and don't explain how much water or how to cook it. Thanks for being thorough!

Awesome! The milk is great, and is on sale through the end of July. 💕🇺🇸
Could you use freeze dried cheese instead of the powder?
That looks So Tasty Jinnie 🤗🙏 Kendra
That looks really good! Does it have a "chicken-y" taste or would we need to add some bouillon powder?
You could add some boullion to this, but we like it just the way it is.
what is your address? I need to come taste that dinner myself..... tee hee hee.... looks great Ginny.
Where did you get the vacuum sealer for the jars? I have a vacuum sealer but mine doesn't have a jar sealer.
Can these be done in mylar bags
How long is the meal in the jar good for ? Is it a yearr or longer?
Could you use O2 oxygen absorbers
You sure can! 💕🇺🇸
Can you use a mylar bag instead of a jar?

Is it because of the egg?
I just haven’t heard this before.
It's just the eggs noodles, Regular pasta from the store will last for decades when stored properly.
