Watch the video again lol, they carry rat lung worm, so yes, they are VERY dangerous if handled improperly, safest bet to removing them is wearing protective gloves and washing your hands after removing them from your home, they multiply VERY fast if left unchecked in your home, squashing the adults will only let them release their eggs, salt and snail bait or physically removing them from your home are your best bets.

I'd would just capture one of them and keep it as a pet in a terrarium and start calling it Gary.

Would be somewhat viable if they didn’t have a parasite causing meningitis with most of them, although I would probably stick to store bought domesticated snails

I like how they’re describing them like they eat whole ass people.
“We had to quarantine the area, they’re dangerous.”

Would you look at that escargot.

  • @noelhutchins7366

They are escargot, follow french cuisine guidelines to eliminate unpleasantness and pathogens, same as regular garden snails; you can feed them live to ducks geese swan or chickens: you can harvest their slime and prepare it for skin-therapy. Snails can travel 20 miles a day, with a top speed of 1mph.

It's on your land and you are calling it African snail😂..africans even struggle to find snails that big.. I bet they travelled alllll the way from Africa. (just wanna know if it’s by air or water🤪😂) Or here’s your theory : someone brought the eggs from Africa. If you finding a way to discover another disease leave Africa out ay(at least then the giant African snails won’t be traveling across the planet to crawl in backyards.

Except it's not a disease you ding dong, rat lung worm is a parasite.

Why eradicate only the African snails? That's RAAAAACIST! Can't wait for the marches. Or slime crawls. Or whatever.

@@glowsnipes Nope, not joking. Just pointing out how ridiculous social media has become. How many things can you name that are not labeled as racist these days?
