Thank you for this… In all the other reviews I had watched I had not noticed or heard about the water/milk spout on the E6 having to be switched - which would be a game changer in our house.
Does the chrome E8 have clearer water storage plastic? I have the piano black E6 and it is hard to tell visually the water level from the outside. I wonder if the white plastic will fade yellow over time?
Good comparison, but please tell Rebecca that after changing grind step it takes at least 2-3 cups until the change becomes noticeable. First cup after change will be pretty much only old grind size, 2nd and probably 3rd - a mix of old and new grinds and only 4th will be a new grind size.
That is not necessarily true with all grinders, but definitely some :)
We have found that the professional aroma grinder from Jura changes the size quicker than others.
Which would you recommend?
How do these machines do with Oat milk or Almond milk?

Yes you will! This is true with any espresso machine :) Definitely don't want the milk sitting in there!

Thank you for your videos. I learn a lot how to operate my Jura E8 machine . I have a question that my Jura Crome E8 doesn’t show the name of the beverages. Is there an option to have it or I need to set it ? It displays pictures but no names. Please advise. Thank you
Hi! Glad you are enjoying your machine :) You can turn on the product names in the settings menu!

I just got it yesterday and I enjoyed it very much already . It said you can down load an app to use on your phone but my machine doesn’t have that “ connection “ option . Thank you for your help
@@jennybui5295 With Jura you will unfortunately have to purchase the wi-fi connect to be able to connect to the app! We typically don't recommend it to customers :)
I find it fascinating how Jura has to go out of their way to differentiate between machines by removing drinks when they are all merely variations of each one. Better yet with the app it makes no sense that a machine cannot be told to make any specialty drink available to any Jura machine. I can have a latte on an S8 but not E8 and an Americano on E8 but not a S8. I want one machine which

I tried both and ena8 has a small water container which is a nuisance and a smaller amount of coffee per brew but milk comes out automatically with e6 the milk frother knob it's ridiculous, I keep forgetting to turn it on.
Didn't try e8 but would be my favorite from what I see. The price is steep 😬
I'm confused about what you said regarding using the milk vs water spout between these two machines for Americano's. You said there is a slight difference in taste using the milk spout? Does that mean the E6 would taste slightly better for Americano's?
On the E6 you need to swap the milk spout for the hot water spout, when pouring hot water through the milk spout on the E6 the crema gets broken and causes the beverage to taste a little different!

What grind size for expresdo
All beans will be different! We normally have ours set in the middle
Our old J5 just died and cannot be refurbished, so we are in the market for a new Jura. We love Lattes and I don't see that option other than latte macchiato. What is the difference and is there a manual way to make a latte?
Hi! A latte macchiato and a cafe latte are very similar, the difference is when the espresso is poured. In a latte macchiato the espresso is poured after the milk, creating a layering effect. A flat white would also be a similar beverage and is available on the Jura E8 :)
I am currently testing both as a customer and liking new 2023 e6 more then new 2023 ena8 for the beverages with milk. I know it’s manageable in settings but the macchiato in e6 is amazing and latte macchiato in Ena8 is full of milk and tastes like cappuccino.
I do like the size of the ena but overall look of e6 it’s more appealing to me.
Yes, you would have to brew an espresso and then manually add milk foam to achieve a true macchiato.
This has been my biggest question that an espresso drink machine doesn’t automatically have a latte programmed in there one a latte is probably the most common espresso drink people consume
I can’t see why the E8 is $1000 usd more. Why ?
wtf i thought i dont see right....pls buy it here from austria or germany.....almost 1,5k cheaper ;) and i am speaking for the new version (EC)
