The ending made me back this game. I love the cuteness but i needed to know if it was going to give me a challenge
Rules goof at 50:33. The archers special power shoot towards the final gold room, not backwards.
The cuteness is too much!
i like this quite a bit. my wife and I like co-ops, so i was interested, but the early info didnt inspire me. However, i think you made a good choice demoing the kill the players mode. This game can be a bit like pandemic when the cities infect and the breakouts start cascading. you can lose very fast. i like that this has a myriad of options to do on each turn and you must balance the need to progress (build traps, collect resources, buy items) verse making sure you are positioned adequately to mitigate the onslaught of heroes.

Thanks for the playthrough, Rahdo! This seems like a great dungeon game for the family/kids. My concerns it that there seems like there are a lot of steps/checks in a specific order... is there a friendly player aid to help players (especially the younger ones) keep track of the phase checks?
my prototype did not come with anything like that but i agree it is needed. i asked the developers and they said they are working on player aids to keep play moving smoothly :)
@@rahdo I backed this initially on the 72 early bird and then I withdrew my pledge due to the multiple steps and I didnt see my kids being able to keep track of the steps. Now I wish I didn't because your playthrough and final thoughts and this reply make me waaaant it! 🤣

I'm rather late to the party, but bear in mind that Mage's free *themselves* along with any other heroes, so throwing the mage in the cell first thing would have caused him to free himself, then loot the chest immediately. I didn't see that in the subtitles, so I thought maybe you didn't realise.
Ohhhh this game looks amazing. I grew up playing AD&D and this is like watching the cute version of the monsters manual. It’s driving me crazy trying remember what the creature that Rahdo calls a sloth is called. I just can’t remember. So if anyone knows, help a poor girl out 😅

Is that game challenging or is that more like childern´s game? Can I adjust set up to make it harder?
each mission has 3 settings: family, challenging & hardcore. we were playing on challenging in the protytpe we had and though it was not a game for kids because it was reasonably challenging. i didn't try hardcore or family though because my prototype didn't come with those setups

My main deck building game is Aeon's End, so I was surprised for a second when you shuffled the deck.
The Kickstarter page says 12+ years old. Is the 12+ seems accurate, or can it be played with younger kids? English is not our first language.
well there's no in game text... only the rulebook and scenario setup (which hopefully will be downloadable in other languages). and i'd assume the 12+ has to do with child safety laws (if you don't want to pay a LOT of money for testing in various countries, you say that it's for older ages)

Love the artwork! But on table it looks too similar to Masmorra. Gotta start thinking about my collection size.
