  • Hello and welcome to my review of Hokusai's Mount Fuji: The Complete Views in Color by Jocelyn Bouquillard, Mark Getlein (Translator). This was a fantastic gem for anyone who is a fan of Japanese prints.

Finally! The author of the waves.
Had I known about your channel before, I would find this out sooner... It was recommended to me about a month ago, probably because of the math books.
It has been a pleasant surprise.

Just discovered the channel. I like the tone and the length of the reviews. I also like that you are showing inside the books. My favorite book review channel for now is Quinn's idea. I'd love to hear you on your favorite book reviewers out there.

Thanks for checking out my videos, I appreciate it! I will have to watch some of Quinn's Ideas videos. It looks like they cover a lot of interesting topics that I would love to listen to. Recently I have discovered a really small book reviewer who I enjoy listening too called Amamamareads. Her videos are a good pace and easy to listen to and she reviews a wide variety of books. I also can listen to the videos like a podcast, so I can listen while cleaning the house or doing other things. I recommend her channel!

I want to see these prints in person - it is so cool that you have had that opportunity! I’m planning a trip to a museum later this year to hopefully see some.

He made hundreds and hundreds of different prints, most of them in black-and-white, many depicting Japanese folklore creatures. Very interesting for sure. He worked like a madman.
