Wake T. Brown: Author Reading and Q & A

Award winning local author, Waka T. Brown, reads aloud from her most recent middle grade novel, “The Very Unfortunate Wish of Melony Yoshimura.” This story is a modern retelling of the Japanese folktale, “The Melon Princess and the Amanjaku.” After the reading, the author takes questions from the audience and shares her inspiration and writing process.
