I lived at Dungeness for just one year - down by the Roundhouse. I loved the place and even more loved the local folks that I met and became friends with. I feel, after watching this wonderful short flm, that a trip back down there and a few beers in the Britannia is long overdue.

What a lovely lady and a lovely video. Let's hope it stays like this forever. I fish from the shore down there now and again and it is a shangrila, if that's how you spell it.
    Thanks for posting it up.

Ya gotta luv this ol' gal. She's the salt of the earth; the Best of the best. And she's no one's fool let me tell ya; nor would she take any nonsense from anyone either, I bet ya. They really don't come better than this. A dying breed sadly. May God bless her and keep her well forever.

    Hi there
I live locally and there are lots of B&Bs around. You must see Derek Jarman's books for great photos and and tales of Dungeness - he had a house there and his partner still lives in it. It really is a very special place. The Pilot Inn has some of the best fish and chips I've ever tasted :o)
    Happy travelling

Also the dearest fish and chips you’ll ever taste. Used to be lovely going to the pilot for fish and chips but now it’s very expensive. I always used to go to the pilot before going fishing it was very good value but since they turned it into more of a restaurant the prices have rocketed so don’t use it anymore which is a shame.

Nothing wrong with living down here next to the nuclear station... she says whilst scratching her wig with her 6 fingers on each hand lol!
I'm kidding I love that coastline from folkestone to Dungeness have so many memories and I adore it!
