Laos c'est mon pays tres beau pays, j'ai quitté le laos en 1975, a cette époque j'avais 22ans, merci pour cette vidéo qui fait partie de mes préféré et sublimes video, merci, je vous envoie mes salutations les plus sincères
Very nice educating video. For most of us here in the states that were too young to know our history of Lao, we really appreciation you ( Nigel) for uploading this video and sharing it with us.
Thank you for creating these videos Nigel. It's great to be taken around all these fantastic buildings with your knowledge. I really hope some of the buildings will stay in the future.
Thanks for your visit and great comment, Sam! Looking back at this video, again, I see so many changes in the past 6 or seven years... huge shopping complexes, vast hotels and commercial buildings. I have also seen the creation of a park facing the Mekong River, improvements and restoration of several old colonial buildings and the neglect of others..... I was on the Patuxai (Victory Monument) yesterday and sadly it is in a bad state of repair.....
@maichandara Thank you so much for your comment, I really appreciate it, too.... Since my first visit to Loas nearly eighteen months ago, numerous visits and now living here on a sort of semi- permanent basis, I have come to love Laos, Vientiane, her people and her great river..... I have also posted 16 movies to RUclips as well as the one you have watched.....!! Best wishes. Nigel
@ThePolsna72 Thank you for watching. I really enjoy living here now for three years. The city is changing and there is much new building development taking place.

Thank you to came to visit my country, so you are making me missing my country.
lao is simple but beauty
Just visited Laos this past March for the first time after I left 35 years ago. Missed it dearly already but plan to go back shortly.
I go visit 2 times a year, laos has lots of potential and will become much bigger if there was no communism
