I'm watching Angel for the first time after years of being a Buffy fan and I just finished the episode where Cordelia dies earlier today and now I'm going to go cry again. They would have made such a beautiful couple. They deserved better! I love them so much and this is amazing! Cangel forever!
I love the fact that you included the early days of Angel & Cordelia in Buffy season 1 because people over look that. But Angel and Cordelia were a thing in Season 1 Buffy. I wish Joss did more scenes between Buffy and Cordelia when Buffy visited LA from Sunnydale.
They're interactions were realistic. They weren't friends. Cordelia was an unofficial member of the Scooby gang who knew Buffy was the slayer, dated Xander until he cheated on her with Willow, and occassionally helped the group with hunting or researching the demon of the week. They were more of associates who became cordial with one another over time but ran in different social circles.

This video is so sweet, and I definitely needed it after that ridiculous tumblr post! lol I love the "Cuddly" parallel and that you included the "what a dork" scene. "Goofy" Angel ftw!! lol xD Oh cool use of the "Angel would never fall for her act" that isn't a common voice over to use, so I love that you included it!! Aaaaww I just think it is so sweet the way you showed how they help each other grow! The way Cordy goes from shallow desires to just wanting to help others! /cries/ I also always love the way they refer to LA as THEIR city!! "where are you and I'm sorry" Such great lyric matches there with the season 2 arc!! And yay I love the "I know you" parallel. This is why this relationship is far superior to BA (well, one of many reasons). Cordy and Angel actual really know and understand each other! "One of us should be happy" Aaaww baby. I just want to hug him! Angel finding Cordy funny parallel. So effing cute!! He needs that humor in his life!
Thanks Ashley! I'm so glad you think my CA vids are still interesting despite the fact that I've literally been vidding them for years lol. Sometimes I do think like "do i have too many vids about this subject? Should I really start another...?" lmao but I just love vidding them too much to stop. There's a lot of material to work with to keep the vids fun to make and hopefully interesting to watch, despite the fact that people love to say they weren't canon or, um, even friends apparently LOL.

Cordelia is an awesome character who is brutally honest with no filter and speaks her mind. She wasn't the dumb cheerleader and popular girl in Buffy. She showed she was smart, had compassion, and had insecurities like anyone else. She lost a lot of cool points dating a loser like Xander and was mocked by her friends for dating him. She stopped Buffy from losing her friends after she was suffering from PTSD from killing the master in the first episode of Season Two. Buffy ends with Cordy losing everything and becoming poor. She doesn't go to college because she can no longer to and moves to LA in Angel The Series to become an actress where she runs into Angel and both of them help the other grown in a better person. By the end of Season 1 of Angel, Cordy starts to show compassion for others and Angel considers Cordy his family and risk his life to save hers. Angel is way deeper than Buffy. While the gang gets to live in Buffy, practically everyone dies in Angel.
@@francarrey7501 Cordelia was exactly like every b in high school I avoided like the plague of locusts they were. The whole thing with Xander was completely pathetic for both of them. I’m still looking for a single redeeming quality in Cordelia, haven’t found one yet.
