Always better to double check than to make a mistake 😃

I am purchasing one of these Soviet era cameras soon. Seems to me that these are actually quite easy to use if you understand the quirkiness of their operation. You do a very good presentation that is easily understood.

Yes they are quit simple cameras and not much that can easily break if treated well. The polish START 66 series TLR cameras are smaller and more easy to use if someone just wants to start with 6x6 format and see how they like it and can be bought for pennies.

Nice video. I need professional opinion about this camera. First of all, do you make photo by this camera and how much rolls of film you used. What about technical details of Kiev 88? Do you have some problems with this camera?

@@DanilTheOpener the next video will be all about using a kiev 88 :) mine was on loan from university. Didnt use it long time but as long as the times and shutter work when buying, there isnt much else to be wrong with it. Mine only had a problem with winding the film when winding the shutter but i will talk about the reasons and go arounds in the video :) of course it takes 120 film, makes 6x6 negatives and fits 12 shots on a roll :)

Thank you for sharing. I also remember you should wind and cock shutter before changing the shutter speed dial setting.

If i remember correctly, my unit didnt even physically allow me to change speeds without winding the shutter first.
