Hi Mr trapped in fallout. Thank you for the videos you make. I've been playing fallout new vegas for so many years now and learning new tips and tricks is amazing. I have a question. Where you able to find a solution to the problem of combining the perk points exploit and the skill points exploit?
@@blaze4horsemen547 Yes, in fact I have a guide that I am working on for it right now. You can totally combine both of the glitches as well as two others also at the beginning of the game. I am still editing it and hope to have it ready. The recording footage is almost two hours long and I am trying to cut it down to like 30 mins or user, hopefully around 20. Hopefully soon.
Hey just wanted to say , I've been playing NV since it's release and a few months ago got the DLCs , if you know anything cool about the DLCs that would be a great help for us who have been doing the same thing 😅
Yes absolutely, it's how I do it myself. I really don't like the Legion at all so it's a nice halfway method to get their fame up without effecting my relationship with anyone else.
I guess I have grown to like the environment now. Now that I have gathered a number of cool weapons and am able to glitch my way to God mode, things are looking up. Maybe one day I'll find the exit door lol.
there a glitch to get more agility then just 10. you will need the dead money DLC and any dirty casual outfit and go to the bunker between the NCR camp and Nelson and then you wear the outfit then go to the Dead money vending machine in the bunker and trade the outfit for chips and you will you still have the 1 agility effect even though your not wearing it😁
That's awesome buddy, thanks so much for sharing. Yeah, it's something I use myself ha ha. It's something that I have not covered on my channel yet because I am still trying to cover as much of the base game as I possibly can. That said you are the first to mention it so thank you for the awesome video suggesting. It actually works really well as I am trying to figure out how to Max out all specials.
There’s at least 30 articles of eligible clothing for the glitch IN the Sierre Madre. It’s best to complete Dead Money cuz the vending machine code is not in the bunker

That's absolutely right and it's a great perk to get to boost your Specials with just one item. I am trying to figure out an optimal selection of items and perks to get Max specials. It's going ok but I need to work it out.

I have a suggestion.. in future videos it would be a good idea if you listed all of the requirements in the very beginning of your video. Such as needing to be liked by the legion or needing level 50 in explosives or needing to speak with Benny first.
That's a fair point. I am sure I have done that for most of my video that require requirements and I recall mentioning the explosives requirement, but I certainly did not mention Benny at all until later for which I will hold up my hand. Many thanks for the suggestion, I will keep this in mind for future videos.
Thanks Retro, I absolutely love your feedback. I try to make my guides as easy, simple and clear as possible so your feedback is much welcomed. Thanks bud.
Your videos are awesome man, I figured i'd share something I found pretty recently since no one else seems to know it, you can actually get every special stat to 10, its just a super long process, the short guide is this, starting special is S-5 P-4 E-8 C-3 I-7 A-7 L-6, Early Bird plus Four Eyes traits, the reinforced spine perk from old world blues for +2 STR, lucky shades for +2 Perception and +1 luck, 8 starting Endurance so you can get 6 implants for S-P-C-I-A-L stats but not the endurance implant as it will already be at 10 with early bird, and you'll have 2 implant slots leftover for the sub dermal armor and monocyte breeder implants, the 1st recon beret is what I personally consider the best headwear for the additional crit chance to the +1 perception, at that point you only need 3 levels of intense training for charisma and then complete lonesome road for the free special point for charisma and everything will be at 10 from 6am to 12pm, its a pretty limiting build but thats the super min maxed version, you can also limit yourself to only wearing the sheriffs duster for an extra point in charisma, meaning you'd only need 2 levels of intense training. Also if you're playing on hardcore you can stockpile atomic cocktails to reduce your sleep meter if you have to wait until 6am a lot instead of sleeping. If you swap Four Eyes for Claustrophobia you can get everything to 10 much easier but if you go indoors everything will be at 8, and if you're indoors from 6pm to 12am you could die from dust falling on your head.
Hi Five, thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and your steps. Yeap, it's something that I am working on the background and am trying to find a balanced way to get the specials to 10 each. Another cool way to get to the safehouse I just found, play the New California mod, keep walking back and forth down i-51 and if you're very lucky you'll get a random encounter for a BoS bunker that will transport you to Vegas from California. Congrats you can now play FO:NV with you FO:NC crew, or conversely you just lost 3 hours of progress cause you've only been using auto saves. Talk to the nearby legion members to get your free transport to the safehouse!
That awesome, I don't really play with mods but it sounds like this one will be very helpful and handy for those who do. That's a neat little trick, thanks for sharing.
Mine too, it's easy to do and as long as you have the medicine check, it will work everytime. The plus one to luck I'd s great thing and if paired with certain perks this also boosts other Specials which is awesome.
You should look for exploits/make videos on being able to be idolized by both Powder Gangers AND Goodsprings (at the same time, in the same playthrough), as well as NOT getting 100 infamy from the legion when you side with any other faction in the end game. You can be idolized by EVERY FACTION at the SAME TIME, excluding Gangers and Goodsprings (have to pick one), and the Legion (if you choose anyone other than them.)
Thanks Josh, it's a great suggestion and it's also been on my future video list. I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this. Legion is basically sorted using this glitch effectively. I'm also trying to figure out how to achieve the same thing with the other factions.

I'm confident many of us have ha ha. But my life changed the moment I found out about this one so many years ago. It's been my go to glitch to quickly get the shades and not have to worry about effecting my relationship with other Factions. That said you do need to take care of both Boone and Arcade before doing this.
Great video, Mo. Will using the explosive exploit to increase fame with the Legion mean you don't have to worry about continually running into mobs of Legion members hunting you down? I swear my last play through I couldn't go 5 minutes without having to fight off a group of these guys because Ceasar had a problem with me. Does having fame with the Legion mean the NCR is going to be hunting you down? Before playing I didn't realize it was Matthew Perry voicing Benny. R.I.P.
RIP to a legend. Usually, yes, since gaining Fame with the Legion also results in a bad reputation with the NCR. However, during this glitch, only the Legions Fame is effected, so using this glitch will not create any reputation changes with the NCR.
There's actually a way to reach The Fort and Lanius' Camp before entering The Tops by going out of bounds. It's actually pretty easy. Let me know if you'd like to know how.
Really, I have to admit it's not one of have heard before. Yeah, please do share Angel, that would be really awesome of you. I would love to learn a out it. @@TrappedInFallout I just checked and yeah, if you speak to Caesar, he just flat out gives you the platinum chip and the quest "Ring-a-ding ding" auto completes. I recorded some footage I can publish later You could "technically" bypass the "give us your weapons" check but it might not work

Sadly there are some downside to either getting or not getting the Wild Wasteland perk. The notable ones are the weapond and Easter eggs and some armors etc.
@@zeropatients363 It might yet be possible. Perhaps don't get the Wild Wastland, get all the gear. Then use the Old World Blues DLC to pick the Wild Wastland and see if the new kit is there. Yeap, it's a nice and legit way to increase your reputation with them without having any negative effects on any of the other factions. Usually completing quests or actions etc can increase reputation with one and decrease with another. But this method only increases the Legion faction and does not effect the other ones.

Thanks Jake for your comment and feedback bud, I really appreciate it.
@@TrappedInFallout Sweet. Thanks for the quick reply, Mo.

Lucky Shades are a very good headgear, it's only downside is that you gotta kiss Caesar's butt to get them, fuck that shit.
Ha ha that's a very fair point. I guess you can always pay him a visit and fix that wrong with a select few words and a slap to the wrist 😎
@@TrappedInFallout A slap on the wrist with "Oh, Baby!"
@@DarkOmegaMK2 Ha ha that's one way to solve the problem.
@@DarkOmegaMK2
Naw, open that tent flap with a fat man on the shoulder. Send one right into Edward's face.
It would be cool if you can get into the fort without going to tops. Would be even better if you can get in and also bypass the initial 'gove us your weapond' check at the beginning 😄.
@@TrappedInFallout I just checked and yeah, if you speak to Caesar, he just flat out gives you the platinum chip and the quest "Ring-a-ding ding" auto completes. I recorded some footage I can publish later
You could "technically" bypass the "give us your weapons" check but it might not work
@@bloodmoonangel8925 Thanks for sharing Angel. Yeap, if you do have some footage around it then that would be really cool to checkout. If you do them feel free to send a link 👍
Love these shades! 😎
Hey Thrillvilled, thanks bud for checking out my video. I love them too, especially when paired with a certain trait. I get points to both Luck and Perception 😄👍
@@TrappedInFallout They should all be in the games as like a running theme.
@@thrillvilled111 Now that you mention it, I don't recall a Lucky Pair of Shades in FO4....or have I been living under a rock or something....... 🤔
@@TrappedInFallout Modding wise it would be great to have these shades for ever game in the series
@@thrillvilled111 I totally agree, as you say sort of a running gag almost across all the games.
I've pretty much got every gun and cool suit in fallout except the one you cant get without having wild wasteland
Sadly there are some downside to either getting or not getting the Wild Wasteland perk. The notable ones are the weapond and Easter eggs and some armors etc.
@@TrappedInFallout wish we could get everything 😑
@@zeropatients363 It might yet be possible. Perhaps don't get the Wild Wastland, get all the gear. Then use the Old World Blues DLC to pick the Wild Wastland and see if the new kit is there. It's not something I have tried and had much success with but it might be worth a try if you have the Old World Blues DLC.
@@TrappedInFallout good idea
Wouldn’t usually give much for luck but makes casinos much easier.
It's a nice way to boost Luck and get some fame with the Legion. Also, if you take the Four Eyes perk then this doubles up with a +2 to Perception.
Hey Mo, love you and your videos, as always. :)
But I want to share news with your Community.
*This week is Fallout:NV free on Origin.*
Hey Flow, how have you been bud 🙂? Oh, I did not know that. I have been away from my PC for a couple of days now but will check th first chance that I get. Thanks so much for letting me know, much appreciated mate. I hope that things are going well on your side.
I don't really like the legion but this is a cool way to get them to like you lol.
Yeap, it's a nice and legit way to increase your reputation with them without having any negative effects on any of the other factions. Usually completing quests or actions etc can increase reputation with one and decrease with another. But this method only increases the Legion faction and does not effect the other ones.
That guy at strip in gammeora casino shouts yee baby because he won big one wears lucky shades if you kill him you get them without needing to join legion. Start new game go to gemora and then go to excange caps for chips there you will find that guy ho is exited happily because he won big silent kill him loot him and vola lucky shades with eaz
Really, I had no idea. I will have to check it out, I didn't know that there is effectively a second copy of the sunglasses.
@@TrappedInFallout Yee my take on the lore is that gambler ho won big in gemora casino took biger cut from the house(not mr house but from casino) and that pisstoff those thughs ho run the place so they got there pals legion to take care off him and took his lucky shades and gemora got there chips back so its win win for casino and the legion ooh yee one more fact if you kill him in casino his shades are in exelent shape but if you get them from legion there are almost Broken item I think when legion got there hands on the guy they buther him loot his corpse took the shades and put them in the shak but they almost broke them in the proces.

Hello again, thank you for videos. It's very useful thing wich I will use ! I hope i'll play fallout 4 😅
Thanks Ghost, it's a really cool way to get your hands on the Lucky Shades. The process is usually a little more difficult ha ha if you don't know about this trick.
@@TrappedInFallout I found a way to buy fallout 4, but it costs 13 dollarsface-purple-crying I have money on steam but i can't buy it there, my god...
@@Ghost424l Ah sorry to hear that. Steam tends to have a fair few sales so perhaps you can save up until then and when the sale comes about then perhaps you can get it them. lol, never noticed their mouths still move under the mask and it clips sometimes.
There is actually a fair amount of detail. Here is another one that I only found put about recently. When using a pistol, if you look then you will see that the bullets actually load into the chamber being being fired out.
@@TrappedInFallout I saw that yesterday with the gun lucky from prim. It ejects the old shells as the character moves the new one in, just like my real one. Lol. Hope I dont get stuck here as well.
@jackman5840 Its crazy how much detail is in the game especially considering how long ago it was made and even so when compared to today's games.
If I'm not mistaken dont the lucky shades get some kind of extra effect to them that they normally don't have when you take the four eyes trait?
Yes your absolutely right. When taking that perk you get additional points to Perception because your wearing glasses. This makes getting the shades even better as it boosts multiple Specials stats, Perception and Luck which happen to be good Special stats.
I wish there were a glitch to get 10 max special so it is easy but to get 10 max special for all you need certain stuff and perks
In the years that I have been playing, it's not one I have seen or known about, not without using some tricks. There are some exploits you can use to bump up SOME of the Specials but not all of them. I am currently working on a way to see if it's possible but it won't be as easy as this, it's going to be more of a 'do this' for this Special.
@@TrappedInFallout only way i see that happening is with the perk where you choose a special stat
@FS-Flame True, and I guess you might be able to do this by using the Intense Training perk and combining this with double perks glitch.
You can get pretty close though like only 10 points away from having everything

Who is your favorite companion in New Vegas? Mine is Rex.
That's a tough question. I have a few that I really like to have with me. In terms of personality I would go with Veronica. In terms of Story I would go with ED-E. In terms of playstyle I would have to go with Boone. It's probably not the answer you were looking for but I honestly can't pick out one overall favourite ha ha.

Until you get into the Old World Blues DLC, yes.
This will take a while since the Legion hates me at the moment. Gotta get to work.
Everytime I hear Caesar talking, it reminds me of Major/Colonel/Deputy Bill Rawls from The Wire because of the voice actor John Doman.
I was waiting for him to flip the bird or say things like "So. Where DON'T you wanna go?" 😄
Given that your likely to take out the Legion in the end, maybe it's OK they don't like you very much and it will make the experience that much more memorable.
