if only Colt was 10 years younger playing in the football landscape today. now EVERYONE is doing the same thing that Colt and June Jones already mastered 15 years prior. so called NFL scouts knocked Colt because they said he was a system QB and never played under center. They said his side armed delivery was going to hurt him. Nowadays we’ve literally got 5’9 QBs playing in pass happy systems getting drafted no.1 and teams hiring coaches JUST to make sure the QB gets to run the same offense in the pros as they did in college. If this was 2007 that would have been the equivalent of Colt Brennan going no.1 and then hiring June Jones to be the Head Coach
Thanks for this. I was on the continent during this season, so I missed all but Fresno St., which my cousin and I drove to, and Oregon St., which I flew back home for. I couldn't even watch the Hawaii Bowl vs Arizona St., because we had to attend a gathering. I'll be on the lookout for others from the 06 season.
