@@jimcr120 - I want to know how much quieter it is compared to a regular paramotor. I don't like the idea of damaging my hearing, and so I'd want some noise protection with a regular gas-powered paramotor. But I've heard that electric is the best for noise reduction. How much better is it, actually?
Hey, please just never leave the power cables connected to the esc when you approach the prop, or mount it... I know it was disarmed... But whatever may happen will eventualy happen... Nice work otherwise!
It's a question. How many kilogram will the weight of 1 and the whole be? How many kilogram will the weight of 2 and BATTE r be? How much do 3 and the price schedule? When do 4 and sale schedule? Are 5 and sale in Japan considered? When it's good, answer, please.
Looks fun - and I liked that shorter takeoff distance. I wonder if the unique characteristics of electric PPG then justifies some special wing designs to suit it?
@@PDWhite I'd read that the upcoming Tesla batteries could literally double the available power densities. It would be great if there could one day be flying times of 2 - 3 hours.
@@PDWhite When your battery charge starts to run out, then does the motor rpm start to gradually taper off? Or does the motor just suddenly lose power?
Thank you for the very detailed video. Can you add a trike to this unit? If so what are the downside of doing this? If you can add a trike can you add an extra battery with a switch to give you extra air time by switching battery with the flip of the switch while still in the air?
Is it possible to mount the motor and battery to a different frame? I like my frame a lot but am getting tired of the two stroke always needing to be “tuned up”
Nice to meet you, I want to know the price of this engine and how to buy it. I'm Japanese. I'm not good at personal computers. Currently TOP80 I'm jumping.
@@ctchuteflyer That is not true. E-props recommends 8Nm of torque to be used. If done with torque wrench, it works just fine. Tested many times. Tightening the prop just by guessing is what can actually demage the prop hub.
I was cringing at 11:37 when you stood behind changing to sport mode, once it beeped and you said now we got full power mode!!! That’s when I was thinking if you slipped on the throttle it will rip through your arm. With that the motor is on or off, not like a petrol ppg you know if the engine is not running then it won’t spin up, with the electric one it’s instantly on with the throttle. Just a safety point as people will watch this and copy you. Otherwise it looks good, we now just need battery technology to advance so we can have longer flight times.
A video every 3 years... Nice 🙂
That sound though 😍
Electric car sound
Haha David! It’s not a tricopter but it is FPV! I still have my tricopter. Have you tried paramotoring yet?

Still kind of bummed I didn't buy your baby tricopter😢
Great design ! Love it.
I've been following this project since the beginning, I'd have to choose a half battery, good stuff!
That sound is awesome!
I’m eager to see ePPG develop and seeing how your product fits in the sport.
We are all waiting on battery tech to progress. It does not look good.
Have you never though about having the motor an controller closer to the harnesses and having a prop spacer
Any update on new batteries to give longer flight time ? Nice Paramotor!
Amazing sir

Hi
What is wing size in the video at the end?
Hi, is the battery lipo? Is there any risk of fire? Tanks

No special wing design is needed, I fly all kinds of wings on it.
@@PDWhite - was that flight with the larger battery pack or the smaller one?
@@manofsan 1hr with the 4kwh pack and 1/2 hour with the 2.2kwh pack. If you are using a sporty wing and flying hard about 40mins with the 4kwh pack.

Yes you can add to a trike, and add extra battery's for more flight time.
Do you can show batery 2,2kw on video?

Do you recommend prop tape for the e-prop?
Wow wow wow
how many time you can fly with this at a time
olá boa noite, sou brasileiro e voo com paramotor, gostaria de saber preço, e como faço para adquirir esse produto
Sir please tell us about motor details
Please send one to Tucker Gott for a review video!

So is the battery shown in this video the 2kwh or the 4kwh ?
Both use the same size case, so from the outside they are identical.
How can I get one shipped to the UK?
Can the 140 be used with a trike?
Yes it can be, quite a few use theirs Sp140 on a trike.
It should work better on a tandem trike. Instead of passenger, you can carry 100 kg battery pack. I will stick with a gasoline engine for now.
I am glad you moved away from that drone design….
I would have expected to see a torque wrench get used multiple times to take guessing out tightness
Using a torque wrench is how you crush carbon fiber E props. They are hollow foam core, so they continue to compress as you keep "checking" them.

There’s only one thing I would’ve done is to unplug your batteries before you put a prop on always I don’t like the videos cool

My hand could slip and power would not be apply because the controller would still need to be armed. So it safe, no need to cringe.
