Hi guys! If you're heading down to Roxy Square or Parkway, highly recommend you check out this Katong Shopping Centre ep as well as they're really close. Cheers & enjoy exploring old malls! ruclips.net/video/KDco30oQJ9M/видео.htmlsi=mDTAPo3XTaQUEKvO
I stumbled upon your videos recently...I like how authentic you are, and the natural banter with your camera lady. There is no pressure at all watching you talk about the places you take us along in your ventures since your pace and information shared (not overloaded) are just about right. Love the accent too. Excellent channel. Keep it up and Thank you 🙂
As a former Parkway NTUC Fairprice Xtra staff, the kitchen there brought back some fond memories and i really love their food. I hardly ever ordered out of the menu, usually just the normal fried rice, fish and chips, mac & cheese, spaghetti(for children) or rice with chicken cubes. Sometimes when eat until dunno what to eat, they will even suggest some out of menu stuff for me.
Ever passed by this building to Holiday Inn Express next door when the hotel was served as Quarantine facility. Saw some muay thai studio there and the people doesn't seems to be friendly.
Reminds me of my visit to a supermarket in Shanghai. They also have this concept of you picking the raw ingredients and have them cook for you instantly. The food was fresh and cheap. But I don't remember they have a bar mixing cocktails for consumers. I shall give it a try on this concept in Singapore.
Really love the idea on exploring old malls in Singapore! Can try old neighbourhood areas but no aircon lah! 😂 Also apparently someone tell me, you can tell people’s age if they say NTUC or Fairprice! I grew up saying NTUC too! 😅
Haha that's true hor. Now actually never label ntuc anymore le but we still can it that. Speaking of signs that can tell someone's age or generation. Check out our city plaza video at 6min55sec . That one I think quite relatable also haha. ruclips.net/video/nHUN9bWWYoE/видео.htmlsi=4Z-o8OkNe92kDa6Q
The "functions" of Dogs vs Cats made me laughed!! I kept some of those tickets which I collected when I was still in sec sch, it was 25cents in those days, I'm so uncle!

The first time i heard abt parkway was when i was 6, my father called home and asked me in hokkien 明天要不要去parkway. However at that age all i heard was 明天要不要 park kway (chicken in hokkien) . I thought he was asking me if i want roast chicken or something. I waited all day for the kway the following day when we were there. I did not know the place was called parkway then.

Awww thanks! It’s ok. We actually just really liked the zichar inside that is operated by Ban Tong seafood. Very value-for-money & the fish with pesto is too amazing!

Love this area. Have home in Katong and the area is so unique and walkable. Lots of great food!
Thank u laoban~ We love the space too. It's my childhood haunt!
its so nice to see you in some light make-up and foundation. much better than your more recent "raw" complexion videos.
This one also no make up haha
That Fairprice cook in-store dishes almost like star rated dining...just no ambience...

It’s pretty special. But not a lot of ingredients qualify for the cooking option, do take note. Highly recommend the fried fish with pesto though

Haha didn't know there was a bar at NTUC, can order Martell while eating freshly cooked seafood 😋
And the best part it's so affordable
To be fair the Martell is a cocktail, not sure if they offer it on the rocks haha. But it’s truly bang-for-the-buck indeed!

$39.43 is for the seabass, flower crabs and dou miao which include cooking them?
