for the record the lion is treading on some very thin ice, OG look dominant but it’s not like Liquid has no chance, after all, Dota 2 is design favorable to comebacks. This make OG’s victory even more impressive, how many times has OG comeback from a horrific early game? But when they had the lead, they just rarely lose it.

I think a lot of people don't see the fact that a lot of bad early-games OG has are just them redirecting the opponents' focus. Ana is just too efficient, so they either create chaos, dominate or tempt/feed easy kills to the enemy to keep them off Ana. Most of OG games start with 10-15 mins of opponents leading them in kills / objectives / farm while Ana gets stronger and they slowly develop their strategy, then the game flips over in like 3 minutes. Another impressive thing is how aware they are and adapt to their opponents. It's always game 2+ when you see the real OGs... Last thing, they seem to avoid long & powerful cooldowns and play heroes that can consistently fight at a moment's notice, which clearly is not ideal sometimes, but it enables their spontaneous playstyle.

OG finishing ti9 final game with style by using ana IO carry and gyro diffusal. Totally caught liquid off guard. Next level play by topson. Ana IO carry will never be forgotten.
Having watched this and the True Sight video quite a few times, I think the biggest difference separating the two teams is the leading style. OG have two natural leaders, Notail and especially Ceb, between whom, the leading roles are divided equally. The image of them surrounding Kuro waiting for him to say something while Kuro is still trying to figure out what has just happened at the end of game 2 says it all.

Unfortunately a big part of Chinese population is pretty unbearable. They are so proud to be Chinese that they dislike anything non-Chinese, including any foreign culture, history, food, customs. Also they generally put way more importance on financial success rather that a person's character and are quite close-minded. Most of this is due to their government, that has been successfully trying to conform their whole population to a single culture, even to the point of displacing and imprisoning the minorities. Get used to the Chinese, because I doubt they will change.
Comes down to Valve's choices and the money that comes with it. China not winning this TI was practically unthinkable for them, no doubt, (particularly when this location was decided well over a year ago) so China at the time was pretty hyped for it. ...We've definitively seen the end of China's dominance in the scene, however, and with it comes the kind of anti-hype that's pretty rare in the competitive scene. I like how no analyst even talked about gyrocopter in last game. And he did the impossible.
I like how all the commentators talk about the 1K/Min gold lead in Game 3, but didnt even notice that they also had a 1K/min gold lead at the end of Game 2 as well. 33K gold lead in 32 minutes of play.
