Those mini pancake/crepe kebabs look SO good and satisfying! And the taco board at El Bajon looks like everything I want in my life..a little taste of everything without getting completely overstuffed.
Love your videos! It's so nice to see that Playa and Tulum are super vegan friendly now! Love it. And those tamales looked amazing! Looking forward to seeing your next vid!
We aren’t quite on holiday, we don’t have a home base and travel full time, but move slowly (2-4 weeks at a time). But yes the food there is incredible!
I love natural flavours when it’s come to food, like you said fake flavours can be so off putting! But that avo looked so delicious and those tacos yummmmm!!!! I love how there was so much to choose from! I love hot sauce! Great video thanks guys! 💚
Do love the quote "come along as we eat our way through talon". The salad around 1:19 does look very deliciouse. Those food truck look very cute. Great way to discover new food as I was watching your video. Every meal look so good. Would be so awesome to try all these different kinds of food. All the food looks very colorful and that sandwich around 12:55 really made me hungry. Great video en reviews! Keep up the good work
We are glad that you enjoyed the video- we love sharing all the amazing vegan food that we find around the world. We want to show people that it's easy to be vegan no matter where you are!
You two always find the best food places on your travels! Do you go to these cities because of their vegan options or do you just happen to find them where you travel? All the food is amazing like it always is.
Thank you! It’s kind of a little bit of both. We do a ton of research on the vegan options and place ourself near those, but then try and find additional hidden gems that other people may not know about.
I can't believe how many awesome places are in Tulum!! I went a few years ago and idd get to check out a few places (Charlie's tacos and The Real Coconut) but now I want to go back, lol! Especially to check out Liefs - that sandwich looked so incredible! So did the desserts.
We tried to visit Charlies tacos, but it looks like they didn't make it through the pandemic :( You MUST check out Liefs, definitely our favorite sandwich.
I'm blown away by all the vegan options in Tulum! I have been to Tulum once and wasn't vegan at the time and now I feel like I completely missed out! I have to go back and do it all over again. (Do you think you could put the restaurants in your description with the time codes so they're easier to look up?)
Lots and lots of delicious food options. What's amazing is how fresh some poorer places can be. It's great to see how awesome food can be when refrigeration is limited. That beet sandwich fooled me. Looks just like pulled pork. But the big question, which taco was best?
The Suadero taco was definitely the best! And jackfruit is such a versatile fruit, it can be sweet or savory, it's so delicious. And tastes just like we remember pulled pork to be
Definitely Mexico City- hands down best food we've ever had in our lives. Then there was a super authentic restaurant that we found in Isla Holbox that might be our second. Everything is so good, it's hard to choose!
@@VeganVoyagers Thanks. I'm a digital nomad considering to head down to Mexico for a month or two to see how I like life there but having a difficult time choosing what city(ies) to visit!
@@zacc.5342 If you like to scuba dive or want to try- we love Cozumel (that's where we are now) Internet has been great here. Playa del Carmen, just across the way on the mainland is also great, we had good internet. Don't recommend Tulum honestly, we lost power often (especially when a storm comes through) and it's a lot more spread out, so we had to rent a car. Playa was walkable. Mexico City is very dense, wouldn't really recommend it right now because of Covid, but in normal times they have super cheap Uber which we used to get around. We also liked Puerto Vallarta, but didn't spend a ton of time there.
Love the cute tumeric shots in the mini mugs..so adorbs...goes well with the pulled jack sandwich. OMG those crepes!!! Love the idea for a skewer of them. I've never tried cactus, so cool they put some in your salad. I've never had a tamale...I tried to order it once but it wasn't vegan somehow..so I couldn't get it. The platter of tacos is such a good symbol of veganism - you can have vegan meat so many ways..chickpeas, mushrooms, soy, seitan, etc. So awesome!!
You’ve never had a tamale? Oh wow that is something you should try and fix as they are incredible! Also cactus has a really mild flavor and a great crunch. Give it a shot!
oh my gosh this all looks incredible! It must be so fun to be able to explore and try new places!! every time I watch one of your videos it reminds me how desperately I want to travel! Tulum is super high on my bucket list so thank you for the tour!
The food is so colourful, looks absolutelt delicious! Almond veganaise sounds lovely. The jackfruit definitely looks tender! ohhh and the dessert, flipping hell! Glad you'r enjoying yourself, although it would be hard not to when in paradise!
Yes it was! Food in Mexico in general is very affordable. Tulum is a little more touristy, so it'll be more expensive than others cities, but compared to the US, it's way cheaper.
After watching these videos of your visit to Mexico. I so want to be there.. what wonderful food you guys have been trying. Just a question.! What is that burger bun made out of as they were bit grey in colour. ???All food looked so delicious.
LOVE THIS! My sister got married in Tulum this past December! So it holds a special place in my heart! Some of the best vegan food I've ever had! Co.ConAmour was one of my favs in Tulum! The veggie burger is sooo good! If you guys ever go back you have to try out The Real Coconut and Burrito Amour
Luckily the pineapple pizza made up for it. I am kind of hungry now. Funny you said in the beginning meat on the burger while it was fruit 😂 Was there really chorizo in one of the tacos I thought this was a vegan food tour?
That's the beauty of vegan food, anything that a meat eater can eat, we can eat a vegan version of. If we say chorizo- we mean vegan chorizo. Egg= vegan egg, etc. Jackfruit is such a versatile thing that it's able to be made into a super savory "pulled pork" dish. It's not sweet at all. Plus everything is way better for you than the meat version!
fantastic!!!!!................looks so delicious!........................................Mega like! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much 👍

Food tour 26
We love a good vegan food tour!
Hey guys! How do you find out about vegan restaurants when you’re traveling? Do you speak Spanish? Use happy cow?
Hayden speaks enough Spanish to get by and we use Happy Cow and the abillionveg app to locate vegan food near us anywhere in the world!
oh my gosh this all looks incredible! It must be so fun to be able to explore and try new places!! every time I watch one of your videos it reminds me how desperately I want to travel! Tulum is super high on my bucket list so thank you for the tour!

The food in Mexico is absolutely incredible. The black bun has a bit of charcoal in it to turn it the fun dark color
This is wonderful... the editing, the on screen personality, and of course the food. Love everything, carnitas for the win!!

Yeah we always inevitably miss some great options as we just only have so much time. We will definitely add to our list for when we return!!
Amazing video and tour!! I dont see anyone in masks, when it was filmed?
This was filmed around September 2020. People wear masks, but not while eating at restaurants- which luckily are mostly outside venues.
Luckily the pineapple pizza made up for it. I am kind of hungry now. Funny you said in the beginning meat on the burger while it was fruit 😂 Was there really chorizo in one of the tacos I thought this was a vegan food tour?
