right, I don't really understand why they discountinued the pulse+. If it's because it somewhat looks like a firearm, it's not a great reason. The bolt looks bigger and way more uncomfortable to aim and use.
@@cucubits I think they discontinued the Pulse+ just because they wanted to increase sales of the Bolt 2 and Pulse. You can still find the Pulse+ for a good price elsewhere though but it will eventually dry up.
The reason they make it look this way is so that police and people do not mistake it for a gun… and if you don’t think that’s a problem, go back to when they started requiring toy guns and air soft guns to come in different colors and an orange tip
@@welding_guy7524 while in theory that would make sense, in reality it does not. Same as with any weapon, if you take it out to stop an attack, you are going to use it. It really doesn't matter if it looks like a gun or a banana. The police has nothing to do with this. What reason would one have to draw a taser on a police officer? Keep in mind how the civilian taser is supposed to be used: draw it, fire it, drop it and get away. When this is the case it really is in your hands for a couple seconds, it should not matter what shape it has.
@@cucubits I guess the idea is to prevent unnecessary panic from the liberals who see a handle sticking out of a waistband and automatically assume it's a bad guy with a gun and call the police. Of course if you conceal your Taser (or gun) properly, nobody should see it but some people don't know how to properly conceal, which causes it to show.
I bought one late last year and enjoy having it as part of my self defense arsenal.
Thank you for describing the mec.& how to use this!
I prefer the design of the Taser Pulse+ than the Bolt 2. The Bolt 2 looks uncomfortable to aim you would have to bend your wrists.

I bought the orginal and wanted to buy another but was told it was discontinued .Shameful
The Taser Pulse+ was replaced by this unit, the Bolt 2.
Very reminiscent of the old Air Taser
