The original strike light is better because you can buy a new battery. I built a nice leather sheath for the original strike light. They work great to scare away stray dogs being aggressive. I also scared away a homeless guy walking towards me and playing with his knife. Zap Zap, no one likes electricity. They work great if properly used. Get training and practice! I had my original strike light for a little over 4 years now and they work like new, just before the releaced the strike light 2. I am so glad I bought 3 oginal strike lights. Hearing that I can not change out the battery is a no-go for me. As I carry mine every day.
Good video! Thanks for going through everything. It also helped that you showed that only the usb cable came with it and not the adapter to plug into the wall. I think it was cheap of them to not include the wall plug in, but what can you do?
Good question. It seems it's not replaceable. I don't see a way to replace. I also checked the manual, and it doesn't state anything about replacing the rechargeable battery. Kinda strange because all other taser units have the capability to change the battery.
@@Stunsterdotcom Thank you for the reply. yes I’ve been in contact with Taser and it seems like they’re going back to proprietary non-replaceable batteries which is frustrating. They’re focusing on shareholder profit over customer retention I’m afraid. I have to C2 Tasers at $400 apiece and the batteries are obsolete other than third-party old stock. I think next time I will go with pepper spray😃
I bought two-one white and one black. Was looking for a good tactical flashlight and was amazed to find a 3-1 with a stun gun feature. Great product!

Taser is a POS company for forcing people to buy their proprietary batteries. EDIT oh, you can't replace the battery in this AT ALL.

Just got 1 and I absolutely love it
Much better than the first Strikelight, it seems like a good upgrade!
Thank you for the unboxing!
For $169 should come in a 3 boxes
Can you actually do in-depth reviews?
I was thinking of getting one for my daughter. Would you recommend?
Yes, we highly recommend the device. Your daughter will like it.
can battery be replaced?

$100 you can buy a fucking gun 🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫
Doesn't look scary enough I need black tactical
They’re useless they’ll just piss off the attacker instead of incapacitating them.
No stun gun is capable of incapacitating someone. That's just TV/movie BS. They can't knock someone out like that in real life.
That is not loud. I need something more loud.
It's very loud in person
