Hi, does this unit or any of the Hik indoor stations work on Wi-Fi. Looking to connect the external intercom doorbell via cat 6 but didn’t hardwire where internal station will be situated. Will connect all to my Hik NVR

sorry cannot. cannot get any notification at the mobile apps, when ur device no connected with the router. but, if ur mobile and device in the same local network, and you didn't leave that environment, u can through the local area network get the notification, on condition that you can't leave that place.
Any idea if this has a web interface as the doorbell does? Trying to access it via IP doesn't work, it doesn't accept the connection. However it does appear online in Hik Connect, SADP tool etc
Hey there, What would work for a rural setting. In which the gate is at the entrance of the property. We have a shed that has internet and electricity 30m form the gate, and our house is 150m from the shed ( 180m from the gate). We would like video intercom, with the option of locking ,unlocking the gate, mobile phone compatibility and a key pad at the door.

sure, indoor & outdoor units can work without PoE Switch, but u need find 12VDC to giv device power. outdoor station must connect with RJ45 cable connect to network switch, indoor station can support Wifi or RJ45 connection.

i think fix your IP will better u using DHCP, Because the ip priority depends on the connection order of the device, may indirectly affect the stability of your connection

Hi, when check the door station live view from the indoor station, I meet the error "Connection time out , Make sure the video source Ip/Port is correct. Error code: 10200.When I unolug the socket on the poe switch and plug it again the live view is Okey. You can help me to solve this problem,
I own two of these indoor units. Too bad that there is no option of changing background or theme. Text (Call, Message, Live View, Settings) is barely visible. White on white, come on.

You need to link indoor unit with outdoor unit. IP addresses need to match. From watching this video I'm confused on how the outdoor unit automatically rang. I have DHCP enabled.
@@DCEDistributionSdnBhd I have the exact same issue... No verification code is shown on the indoor station a a toggle enable/disable option... any ideas? there is no verification code on the back of the device either
@@DCEDistributionSdnBhd thanks for the reply guys, worked it out in the end… the latest firmware doesn’t come with a preset verification code, you have to tap on the screen just to the left of the toggle switch to disable/enable and it then allows you to type your own verification code to use. Hope this helps others out there struggling to work it out as well

My model/version had a switch to enable the verification code but it didn't show any. Turns out there is an input box right next to the switch where you have to manually input a code. It's invisible so just press a little to the left of the switch. Nearly lost my mind over this

It appears to have a toggle switch all the way to the right of the display on the same line as the verification code. Tap just a little to the left of that switch and if correct, an input keyboard should appear where you just type whatever you want.

this behavior is not recommended, because you are already over 100m away, i don't think the signal can reach so far.
I set up a system for something similar, over 280m, using wi-fi

Does this system have motion detection ? Can you improve the quality of the image as my picture quality is not very good.
hi, device cannot support motion detection, i think model this 2mp video quality is good enough already.

For some reason door station unit is not found it says no device found. Although it is connected to port 6 and powered. Any ideas?

Please check IP address are they in network of same IP series, from laptop ping both units properly or not
