18months my wife has had hers, we purchased 2 new cars at the same time and the atto 3 is the only car we drive. The self driving is quite bad, but my wife does not use it. We always charge at home we have only used a public charger once. I think it is just the perfect size car, it is small enough to drive like a small car but large enough to feel comfortable.
Thanks for your insights. I don't have a car at the moment but I would like an EV, I test-drove the Atto3 recently, also MG4 and EV6. I remember the softness and comfort of the Atto3. In the next few months I will reach a decision.
I have the Atto 3 and the new Tesla Model 3, just like you. I'll also be receiving the new Model Y in April. I fully agree with your opinions. Apart from the self-driving and software experience, I’m satisfied with the car.
Interesting to hear that you have both and are now going for the Model Y, I am curious to see what you think of it. And for the money, BYD cars are amazing, especially if you don’t intend to use the autopilot systems in your car.
I have owned my Atto3 for over 2 years. At the time I chose the Atto 3 because it was the only relatively affordable EV that could take a giant dog in the boot (Great Dane), the Model Y could do it, but at the time it was $20k more than the Atto 3. I haven't had any issues with the Atto 3 except for a 12v ancillary battery failure (common on all EVs not just the BYD). Upgrading to a better-quality deep cycle marine grade battery fixed this problem. Charging is done at home using excess solar via a Zappi smart charger, and it works out more efficient this way than to take the pitiful feed-in tariff offered by Ergon Energy. Initially I was concerned about the interior getting dirty, but a damp cloth with a little dish soap is all I have ever needed. Ride quality is very good, and it handles a lot better than you would expect, especially if driven hard (probably down to the low CoG, and I immediately replaced the Batman tyres with some 235 sticky Continentals).
I’m glad you’re happy with your purchase, thanks for sharing your insights. I will be replacing the tyres as well. As that’s the only thing that concerns me in the BYD ownership.
Hi i bought my Att3 2 months a go here in uk i rally like it. Still learning the technology. I would like to know if your att3 got factory fitted dash can ? Coz here in uk we dont get the factory fitted dash can.
Hey, thanks for sharing. Congrats for buying the car. Yes, we get a built in dash cam here in Australia. Just front camera though, but glad it’s included.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's a good way to articulate the experience. I too think it’s pretty good size and definitely comfortable.

Good luck with the purchase. I am sure you will like either of the cars as they are all good EVs

Thanks for the review. I agree with your content. I love my Atto 3 and the comfort on long journeys is a stand out.
Glad you enjoyed the review! It's great to hear from someone who also recognises the comfort these cars provides.
Thanks the review and video quality is great Amit
Appreciate the kind words! Peter😊

⭐️ Thank you for your informative video! In principle, I also have only good things to report about the EV BYD ATTO3. ⭐️🇺🇸🇮🇹
Thanks for sharing. It’s a fantastic little car especially for the price.

@EVsUndone can you recommend me where to get it from the byd dash cam from ?
👍
👍🏼
Go compare it to the highland model 3. It will destroy all your comments about how bad M3 is. Old M3 was a prototype.
You maybe right, but a prototype that lasted over 7 years wow 😮
