I’d love to get a direct drive wheel but it’s extremely expensive I was thinking of trying to find another used g29 or Maybe the t300rs from thrustmaster if I can find it used and idk about doing it now that’s hundreds of dollars still it would be most of my savings for the year if I get somthing more then a g29 I’d love to just money is tight
yo what are your g29 settings, would love to know cause Im getting into drifting on Assetto and I have the g29 as well, I find sometimes on the transition the wheel doesn't rotate back that well and it throws me off, or idk maybe I'm just bad XD
in the force feedback area of the game my settings are setup as 100% gain 5% minimum force the rest is at zero go to post processing in the second column and u have Center boost range move that to 10% lower speed threshold is 3km/h and low speed ffb strength is 1% The reason all the effects are set to zero are to give the wheel only the feeling of the drifting, when u try to overcomplicate it with the effects the wheel can sometimes make a ton of noise and not run to smoothly, I have a couple viewers recommended these settings and they have worked wonders For Logitech g hub Sensitivity 50 Operating range 900 Centering spring strength 20 And my pedals are at 50% across all 3 :) These settings amplify the drifting feedback and get rid of the extra crap so it feels like u turned up the force feedback it’s much more realistic and reliable, u just don’t feel the bumps as much, I’m sure with a better wheel or simulator all together u could turn the stuff up but it sounded like mine was breaking as the effects were happening now it doesn’t :):)
It takes time to get right look back at season 1 first few episodes or the overdrift festival series that I started with It’s taken me over a year to get where I am today if you keep at it anything is possible :):) Episode 100 is when i got the webcam set up and got commentary:)
@@parthpatel4897 np glad to help :) and rewatching my drifting definitely helps but u don’t need to record if u don’t want to just so u know there’s a media tab and it has ur last 20 sessions saved as replays u can switch between all the cameras :):) that’s how I record my 3rd person for the video I go back in a re record the session after I’m done :):) hopefully that helps and saves u space on ur pc 😂 double recording and saving takes up alot of space if ur not constantly deleting them after use 😂 I know from experience…
pedal potentiometers are either going bad or need to be cleaned. its not too difficult theres a few vids out there on the procedure
@@WizGotBeats_ eh thanks I’ll look into if it can be cleaned that would be awesome!! 😀 and it would save me a lot of money 😂
perfect change for DD :)

I appreciate the advice and definitely look forward to a dd upgrade when I can afford it :):)
@@TylerGC get a cammus c5 it has 5 nm of torque and good force feedback and its direct drive for only 250

Thank you!!

For Logitech g hub
Sensitivity 50
Operating range 900
Centering spring strength 20
And my pedals are at 50% across all 3 :)

@@TylerGC lool thanks, I'll give it a try, yeah my g29 sounds like it's dying sometimes so hopefully this fixes that. I'll lyk how it goes 👍
@@TylerGC haha yeah it definitely takes a lot of practice, I might start posting my progress just to see where I'm at as well, awesome drifting man
