I honestly don't like the image of Renault in India but hands down "Kiger" is a very good-looking car and Renault has done a great job in terms of design in my opinion.
Same with the design of Triber. For a sub-4m MPV, it looks great.
But it isn't better than it's sister car magnite.

let me tell you a fact. Kiger gives brilliant mileage even in the city if you drive like a human. my 20km office commute in Mumbai has at least 6 traffic signals. Even then, I managed to get 13kmpl regularly. On highways, 18kmpl is very easy given that your average speed is between 80 and 100.
so why so much difference between my data and Faisal's.
Because I don't have a review car. I bought Kiger with my own money, so I drive it like a normal car should be driven.
Though most of the other things in the video are correct.

I have never purchased a car below 20 lakh for personal use. I don't look at those segment or price range cause most of those car are shit. But have been in Kiger once it's shit only a person who haven't been in a real car will call this the most comfortable car of India.

I don't really get why youtubers comment on mileage when they're probably revving the engine above 4k rpm in 3rd gear. Drive in 5th gear at 80-90 kmpl and report the mileage ... it's that simple

I bought Renault kiger CVT TURBO ENGINE.... Mileage 15km/l. Renault's service had become better. The suspension is good, the cc is low compared to the money spent
I wonder if this car was with you for 1 year and still you say the torque of this car is 160 nm. It's actually 152nm. The car had got the update in 2022 itself with Cruise Control. CVT and DCT gearbox is not supposed to be revved hard for performance. It just drink the oil. But still as you agreed and I being an owner of CVT Kiger can tell your audience that Sport mode is too good. And a light foot on accelerator does give a good power and a good mileage as well. My score would be always 88+ on the Screen which monitors my driving pattern. I drive between 90-110 kmph on the highway in Normal mode(out of 3 modes in Kiger) and get around 15-16 kmpl overall mileage.
I am quite happy with this car. I agree with your review but disagree as well with some of those. For an example there is some noise for sure but I was driving a Tiago before so I am quite happy with Kiger CVT. It's 3 cylinder and the vibration is a pretty common thing in a 3 cylinder car. It is still very less compared to many other 3 cylinder cars in the market. The other thing I would say is that AC does work but fan speed has to be a little higher. What sound Kiger makes when the fan speed is on 3-4, Venue .akes in 1-2.

I agree..I just dont like the cabin noise in the highways..I wish I could do something with the cabin noise and also the suspensions..Is it possible to change suspension to be more like nexon or others?
As an owner of this cvt turbo 2022 model which got extra features like cruise control and wireless charger and I agree 💯 whatever he says!!!!
Faisal, I think you're using a 2021 variant of the car. Later versions did get Cruise control on the Turbo variants.
I have a Kiger CVT which gives 8.5 - 9 kmpl where my Nissan Kicks (second car) gives more than 18,19 easily
I also clocked 21 kmpl once on the highway in Kicks

i've done 21kmpl on Scorpio N z4 on Highway.
Diesel manuals are just world apart in mileage compared to petrol.
I have a Kiger RXZ Turbo MT for 2 years and most of the cons of CVT/AMT are covered up. It's a pure driver's car and only second to XUV300 in its performance. In this cost, best value for money
How about the suspension?
Definitely since kiger is 3 cylinder engine sure it vibrates. If you want 4 cylinder engine then pay 2 or 3 lakhs and go for that. And regarding breaking, its good for indian roads. And finally i love my kiger. 👍👍👍

any idea how to fix kiger / magnite brake noise ?? it's kinda loud and annoying in low speed especially in heavy traffics
If you absolutely have to rev the shiz out of the engine and do performance tests, I don't think its a fair test to do an efficiency test during the same run.
Also in my experience, a heavy right foot needs a bigger engine to complement and keep decent mileage.
I have 2021 rxz turbo manual and I'm getting around 20-22 on highway (90-100) and 15-16 in city so u should try out manual
I drive a non Turbo AMT. Performance is average at best, fuel economy is very low. But it is very comfortable for passengers and the build quality is good. Not a good car on highways, but not bad on town and village roads where you don't go over 70-75 kmph. If you don't figure out the quirks of AMT then it can be a bit frustrating to drive.

Completed 20,100 kms
Total services done: 3 (1 - after a 1000 kms and 2 after 9800 and 9200 kms)
Total service cost: 1st - 450, 2nd - 2800, 3rd - 7800 (extra for the rat bit hose replacement and wiper change)
Average mileage: 12-14 kmpl in city and 16-18 kmpl on highways (cruise control engaged). Sometimes has given 20-21 kmpl
Agree to all the cons mentioned and a few more of mine.
But overall, a fantastic car. If Renault refines the car even more in their next edition, it will give better competition to the Punch.

Can you please help me in choosing the car. I am confused between Kiger Turbo CVT vs Magnite Turbo CVT vs Exter SX Amt vs Nexon Smart AMT. My budget is about 11 lakh which one is should go for i live in delhi so little bit lean towards cvt but exter is new and comes with paddle shifters whereas Magnite facelift is pending and will come around 2025 & Nexon base model is available for that amount in AMT and can't find more about Kiger 2024 Turbo CVT.
Get the Exter, it’s a proven product as the underpinnings are of the i10!

My kiger turbo’s been giving me 13-15kmpl on mix highway and city use. I agree with the lack of refinement and everything else though

We have a brand new Hyundai Venune N line with 1.0 litre turbo DCT and the fuel efficiency especially in city is very low. we get around 9-11kmpl in city under normal driving conditions. But with some tricks in driving style can get up to 13. We have tested tank to tank when we went for a longdrive from Bangalore to Velankanni and found out that with 4 people loaded with luggage it gave us around 16.75 kmpl which was acceptable as the road conditions in some place was really bad (road works in progress) and we had to be in crawl mode some of the time. On an average it gives us around 13.5 kmpl in Kerala roads.
Faisal, YOU getting single-digit mileage on this car, or any car, is not a surprise. Normal people don’t drive like you do.
I own a KIGER RXT option non turbo manual but still i get mileage of 10km/liter, this car cost me 8.25 lakhs onroad as compared to other cars at this price point i think it's ok..

Its amazing & kiger provide maximum features like keyless entry, 8 inches touch screen, tyre pressure monitoring, cooled glove box, rear ac winds & rear hand rest which is countable in luxurious accessories 🫡 & if we talk about safety provide by reno which is also very impressive because kiger get 4⭐ rating in global ncap crash test ✨ so... We can say its a safe car also.... & Reno provide 4 airbags in kiger so... We can say kiger is really value for money & very decent product of Renault ✨ so... Everyone should go for this beast also.... In this segment this is the only compact suv which provide alot of things according to its price segment 🫡 definitely everyone should consider this beautiful beast✨

Kiger is a value for money proposition be it looks, build quality and overall experience infact much better than cheaper substandard products claiming to be market leader because of mileage figures minus safety features... It only lagged behind because of poor marketing strategy of company
It's been a year with my Renault Kiger Top Model RXZ Turbo CVT in Stealth Black color. With its bold front grille, sleek headlamps, and dynamic body lines, it has a strong road presence. This is truly a gorgeous-looking car! Despite its compact dimensions, the the offers a surprisingly spacious interior and massive boot space given its compact SUV size. The Arkamys sound system I must say is simply just amazing. The mileage could have been better but it's gradually improving with each regular drive. Overall, I am very much satisfied with my Kiger.

But I've to disagree on the milage part as I easily get 14 to 15 kmpl in city and around 20-21 on highway

I think kiger suspension is much better than Nexon, maybe you mean duster types which is the most ultimate out there

Renault really don't understand Indian market -
1. Engine needs to be 1.2 l even 3 cylinder will also work.
2. They should add cng to their line up - car with single digit mileage will not go long for sure.
3.They should add 5 years warranty to base pack which is not offered by any one in competition.
4. Focus more on car sale than advertising and also regular updates to product is must.
Agree, Kiger is a really good car in the segment with the punchy engine, wireless AA, Rear AC vents, Good GC etc. However, while driving a friend's car yesterday, I realized 2 things which might be useful for someone looking to purchase it.
1. Turbo lag - Like all Turbo-petrols, this car has a turbo lag at RPMs around 1500 and picks up very well once it crosses 2000 rpm. What this means in a Bumper to Bumper traffic is that there could be slightly unpredictable acceleration in the 0-20 kmph range. One might get used to it with time, but coming from a Honda Amaze CVT which has a NA engine (although it lacks performance at high speeds, but is a really good city car), these turbo lag issues in B2B traffic were prominent for me.
2. Like said in the video the AC is quite weak. Esp the rear AC vents provide very mild air flow and during summers it will not be sufficient.

Huge panel gaps on the outside especially near headlights is a big mess up and the interior gaps are also prominently evident otherwise Kiger non turbo is a good car for normal driving
Don't even think of automatic petrol version. Get the CVT turbo. I got the normal automatic and I'm suffering
Please compare this car with the c3 aircross, as the price point is not so different. Also c3 aircross at times offers good discount while this car doesn't.

I just stumbled upon this video after all these days, i remember how faisal bhai roasted magnite which is more vfm than kiger, has all the features which he praised in this video and also has better space. Now, i am thinking that he is biased. P.s. i went on to buy magnite anyways and I don't regret my decision after driving it for 13K kms in almost every condition possible!

This is not fair bro...😢you are driving an old model, even though it's an year old user experience of yours it's redundant for the new buyers...🙄NVH is poor I agree but the driving is smoot right from 2023 model and the engine is refined than before,cruise control is available from 2022 model.. the one you have is before 2022..Mileage is better in real-time city traffic..I agree mileage is not superb but it's definitely not returning single digit on an average..

Why is it not fair? Every cars will age if someone buys it, it will not reverse its age and also its clearly mentioned in the video that its a long term review.
I think its a really good review for the one who are looking out to buy this car to know how this car would be in the coming usage or when it age. The car will age, so these issues will be common to all. If people who don’t like some of these issues appearing when it’s old, they can skip because it’s better to skip it rather regretting a year later for the choice they have made. So this review is good

@fasbeam just beacuse you did a Mum-hyd trip, my brand new Honda City CVT returned 19 kms for the same trip on 29 Jan 2024. Extensive use of Adaptive Cruise and careful throttle kept below 2k rpm for most part of the trip. total travel time was 11 hours. What do you have to say about that?
Bhai iam sorry you being using the door lock feature manually for an year. Keep the car in start and hold the door lock button until you hear a beep . Later you can see the wonder 🧘♂️

I have kiger RXT turbo variant. Since one year i am driving this. I have been consistently getting mileage of around 14kmpl in city (Bangalore) with AC.
The only con so far I have noticed is the AC. The AC is not effective at all.
The cars clean air logo looks very cheap. Though all cars ac can be converted to PM 2.5 filter by changing the AC Filter. Why does Renault wanted to show off with such a simple feature.

TODAY I TRAVELLED FROM DELHI TO JAIPUR WITH AN OLD ZOOMCAR KIGER . GOT AROUND 18 KMPL WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION. CAR FEELS GOOD . SINCE ITS AN OLD CAR I CANT JUDGE OTHER THINGS . BUT I GOT AMAZING MILEAGE FROM THE CAR .
