@GrandPitoVic buggy is fun as hell. I Think you get more bang for the buck with a syncro or typhon 3s. This is a nice buggy if they would've sold this with the 3s setup would be a better deal. Thanks for watching.
Good video. Just got a typhon and after this video I am happy I did. Love the mellow jazz background music. The sax just over powers your voice sometimes
I’ve found that to be true. The rear differential input gear is the weak link in the Typhon 3s V3. Amazon had the all metal assembly on sale for $43 via the Arrma store, so I opted to replace the whole thing and be done. Mind you, I had a good 1.5 to 2 years of ~45mph 3s performance out of it before needing any replacement upgrades. The Jato bl-2s not so much. But Traxxas fanboys will console themselves with myths of Arrma junk plastics and Traxxas indestructible plastics to justify their sunk costs.
Great video, I think this jato is a total waste of money though. So many better options I'm surprised you guys are buying it. 350$ for a 2s buggy is nuts haha.
It would have been better if Traxxas sold this as a roller for $260. Realistically, anyone who buys this are not going to keep these electronics in it anyway, and unlike other RCs, its not like anyone will reuse these electronics and put them in something else, so they'll go in the trash bin, anyway
When it comes to content creation, information, or just entertainment, we kind of have to buy cars like this sometimes just to give a real world look at what they're really like to own and drive. Sometimes they are a pleasant surprise, sometimes they are so bad it's comical. We've all had several of both varieties in sure.
@dylanwhite6539 the new Typhon 223S doesn't have plastic gears, all metal. But even at that, plastic gears are fairly cheap to replace. But ye he's comparing the new Jato to the Old Typhon. Check out the new typhon 223S
Good video Bro, but you're comparing the new Traxxas to the old Typhon. The New Typhon 223 S is clipless and is definitely bigger than the traxxas Jato. All the way around its footprint is bigger, wider, longer etc...👍🏼💯
He will put this on facebook market place by this time next week. He will gut it, add stronger electronics, do a run video than sell it. Simple yet effective formula to obtain views and or subs. Gap and the crew think they fooling folks 😂😂😂
@spenn2007 i put a cpl of cars on fb, I currently have 40+ rcs....if i post a few that I'm done with or don't like not hurting anyone....so don't really understand your point bro. Thanks for watching
Looks like a good overall basher. 👍 TLR roller is a better value if you're swapping out electronics anyway.
@i4nic256 exactly. For 350 there are better options. However traxxas has the best factory upgrades.
I have been thinking about getting a Typhon for when I am not in the mood to mess with my nitros. But I am definitely a buggy guy!!!

Nice video, Jay Mitch. Good comparison 👍🏾👍🏾
@deonfreeman651 thank you bro!
Hello good morning!!!!
I use the 4s metal input with the 3s plastic crown ( works well and is cheaper? the 3s plastic input wears alot faster, then it will damage the crown)
@stoeger2-d7q alot of plastick to have to upgrade or replace later.

Good pickup sleek basher 👍🏿
@WuDidit412 it's sleek as hell low slung very clean design now if they could lower the front shock towers that'd make it even cleaner

Until the plastic gears strip on the 10th run and you’re out 50-150+ to properly upgrade the driveline

@jaymitchrc cool, cool man, my bad. Can't wait to see the new comparison video.....💯👍🏼
I’ve already done all the math JM … you are talking about the thick end of $350 to make that a VXL. The VXL is a whole different animal
@@RC-Closer1313 it's a whole other tax bracket, 😆
