For me, I started out thinking "I didn't know Ronnie liked to rap. I wonder if he can *really* rap." Well, when he jumped out of the exploding plane and started hitting us with the quaver-triplets, I was convinced. And then, a couple of sections later, he takes it to another level again! And then it goes metal, and that breakdown was a killer. Thinking about harsh vocal techniques, I'm going to assume you're aware of the video that Elizabeth at The Charismatic Voice made with Will Ramos having a laryngoscopy. I can't remember if you did a reaction video to that one, though, so I'll have to search for it once I've posted this comment. There's so much amazing music coming out at the moment. There's Ren going viral with his incredibly raw, personal and relatable songs; Melissa Bonny's band Ad Infinitum just released their new album today; Ronnie and Falling In Reverse have been making absolute epics like this one; Floor Jansen just released her debut solo album. And so on. It's hard to keep track of it all.
Love your reaction and expert analysis. So much involved in this song/video- the great rhymes/lyrics/writing/ transitions as well as the video itself that was so amazing. There are no weak links anywhere in this chain. The mastery and blending of genres is remarkable. Have to say the song/video is amazing.
His versatility is off the wall. And that transition really catches you off guard, going from rap to Bohemian Rapsody sang by a choir of undead nuns into rock. Many bands mix genres but none do it this way. And just a little note, those thundering drums in the heavy part give me goosebumps everytime, Luke Holand's addition to the line up was a stroke of genius, he brings such versatility to the drums as well, but when it gets heavy nobody does it like Luke. Great reaction as always Anna.

as a screaming hobbyist, the first "the fear is what keeps you alive" is full on false chord with a vocal tract shaped like trying to hit a bass noice (round, dark, whatever the technical terms are), then it gets progressively more "fried" (you can distinctly hear fry in "inside") break the fucking chain comes closer to what i'd call goblin scream, which would basically be a mix of mix voice and fry, and then it ends litterally with what i would call a high fry + hearing the uvula vibrating (that's how i feel it anyway, it could also be something on the secretions in the mouth idfk)

Building a small utility trailer for my friend Larry, then onto building a single axle hydraulic dump trailer for myself.
