building for sure.
you could even do “building editions” of episodes where you could record the building process and post it as a seperate video along with the normal episodes so people that are interested in watching the process can or vice versa

As for building episodes, I like them! I miss the building timelapses you've done in the past - maybe a mix of on-camera building with some timelapses sprinkled in would be good.

I like watching you do some building on-camera, giving us an idea of what you're thinking, and then the rest being done off-camera, because it makes a good balance between building and action.
I love the amount of building you do. Its enough to show people how they can do things, but it's not just full of building. It's a good balance.

I prefer him taking us through his building thought process so we can think with him and really learn. That's why it's a guide.

I love the building and design videos btw. I would personally never say its too much.
I'm definitely a visual learner, so watching somebody else do it makes it a lot easier for me to do it. Like, I've become the pro at circles just watching you build them. It gives me more of an intuitive sense of what I need to do.

So at the 4 portals in the middle you might want to add something purple that makes it look like it's taking energy from above nether with purple glass maybe but the roof would be a bump. I love watching your build process. Going through your decisions on the fly is super helpful to me as I’m HORRIBLE at building. You could certainly time lapse a lot of it if people feel like it’s a lot of content in the videos. Keep it up!

Overall you make me better in my Minecraft world, and in real life! Also I am in love with the amount of on camera on this series for building. Another thing you could do is time lapses. about the building on camera thing: I feel that building a base/the idea of the build on camera or if the build has repeated stuff then show one part and continue the rest off camera
more feedback: if you replaced the ladder to the nether bottom with a warped vine thing you would be able to see 360* and it would look cool
and if you framed your nether portal with grey concrete maybe it would look more grand!

Since you’re starting to work on more projects, you should do an episode where you get shucker boxes. That way you don’t have to carry around the ender chest and silktouch picks

As a solution to building or not in your episodes have you ever thought of live streaming? You could live stream the more grindy building part and in the episodes you could go over the finished projects and details.
He used to stream but because he uploads so much he stopped doing it a while ago. But yes I want build streams too

Debris generates too low below he was on top of nether lol
@CASUAL GAMER It's actually not impossible for ancient debris to generate up there. In my last playthrough I found a chunk of two when digging my tunnels between portals 5-7 blocks from the lowest bedrock block at the top. Since I wasn't even looking for it I was super excited! It's just super rare to find it up that high, but not impossible.
Ancient debris can be found at any y level, it's just much rarer above y 28 than below it. I have found ancient debris at y 105 and 87.

I definitely think you should build on camera more often. It's a part of what makes your videos unique to me. Many RUclipsrs cut away and come back and I'm left figuring out how they made their builds. But when you build on camera the viewers learn your process and take away some ideas for their own builds.
It was you building in a tutorial style that really evolved my Minecraft game a few years ago, and the newest generation of players deserve that level of detail as well :)

My kids and I watch regularly and we all agreed that the mix of on and off camera you have currently is percfect. No need to build repeated sections on camera, just one then cut to completion. Also a mix of builds with a few exploration episodes sprinkled in works great.

Answer to your question about building on camera:
I definitely think you should do the planning on camera (as in talking about what you’re gonna do), and do most in a timelapse, using the Replay Mod!
To those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, the Replay Mod is what Grian (amongst other RUclipsrs) uses for his time lapses.

I like the more building idea! You explain things really well and that basalt generator I didn't even know existed!! I like how you explain your build but cut out the tedious parts like replicating all the walls. What your doing is perfect for the vid's structure. Loving the series!!

Hey wattles! I'm a new viewer of just this past week, but I already love your content! I have been playing Minecraft for years, pretty much since 2011. I love the creativity you use in your builds, as they inspire me to get more creative in mine! In response to your question from this video, I think the amount of building you do in your videos is perfect. In my opinion, you don't have to show every single detail of your builds as long as you keep it basic to how you are designing your outline, and a little description of the detailing both outside and inside. Looking forward to more videos in this series!
