Tractors from the 70’s to the 90’s are very cool to me. That said you get behind the wheel of a 2022 machine like this Fendt and you can get a bunch of work done in a day.
They don't have it anymore as it was just a demo unit, but that's exactly what my thoughts were when Welker Farms recently got the opportunity to demo a brand spanking new (to them at least) Case IH Steiger 540 CVX, which has A LOT more bells and whistles compared to their 40-year-old Big Buds that they usually operate.
That is a really awesome tractor it really sounds like Fent is really taking care of their customers all the fluids changes are included in the price that’s awesome and that’s a really cool air drill to
Great to see Fendts farming in the U.S. Mine is a 513 Vario and I ask myself if you know that smaller series over there. Here (I live and farm in the northest part of Italy) in the middle of the alps surrounded by mountains the 500 series is already a big machine. One of my greatest dreams is to visit the U.S. And some farms. Greetings from South Tyrol, Italy
Thank you for watching. The Fendt range in the United States with a 113 Hp model in the 300 Vario range and goes up to 670 Hp with the tracked 1167 Vario MT.
When I was a kid in the 70’s my Neighor still had a wooden McCormick drill on steel wheels pulled by a Farmall M. Today the same farm uses a Case IH 370 AFS Steiger and a Fargo air drill.

That drill seems a lot less trouble than having a separate cart, surprised we don't see more like it on YT? I didn't used to like tracks... Saw my first 8RX in the flesh a couple of weeks ago. Wow. Such an impressive machine when it working up close.
Horsch seeding has had a growing presence since 2003. It is growing quite a bit in the past few years. Fendt makes some very nice tractors and has gained some market share in the past year.
@@bigtractorpower It was a shame the Horsch Terra-tracs and the tractors are no longer made although as the tractors were a joint venture with Kirovets in Russia that would have been a big problem at the moment.
@@melvd3484 My Challenger has a cvt tranny which they probably call vario drive. I don't have the MAN engine, it has the sissy engine but it is a 7 cylinder as well. I don't know if I like the green color better. They need to offer an option for Massey red, if they did that I might have to buy another one...
Very impressive, was curious about the drill, cost? And I assume GPS guidance, does it shut off individual rows as it overlaps finishing the field? And where they're manufactured?
Two tracks are more efficient with less power loss. This is especially noticeable as speeds get higher. Bending 4 tracks around rollers consumes a huge amount of power. Two track tractors flex 2 tracks over 2 large diameter rollers. Four track tractors have more tracks, more rollers, more flexing over smaller rollers consuming more power.
Thx Jason... I never dreamed 40 years ago that farm machinery would change so much....I still favor the old tractors but the new stuff is awesome

Massive Horsch Planter! 😮💪👍
I've always been a tracked tractor fan. Especially the 2 track models. Fendt makes a beautiful and mean looking tractor!!! GO BTP 💪
The Fendt Vario tracked tractors are easy to run and smooth riding.

Sweet setup!!!!!!!👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Love these twin tracked tractors, and this Fendt is so sharp looking.
Fendt has a nice range of track options. They are nice tractors.
@@bigtractorpower I agree!
The level of refinement in these modern-day tractors is amazing.

i used to drill with the drills with iron wheels.great video thanks for putting up,

It is quite the set up for a single disk drill. Most CCS style air drills are 40ft and hold 100 bu of seed. This Horsch is impressive at 355 bu.
What an impressive lineup😁👍 thank you for the video👍👍
That’s the best looking dual track tractor I’ve seen!
The 900 Vario MTs are nice tractors.
Great video thanks Jason
Thank you Jimmy. We will be seeing more Fendts in WKY.
Great vídeo Jason.
So many good videos
Thanks
That baby moves,. If it had WINGS it might FLY ✈️✈️✈️
😁👍👍👍
That is awesome. Great video and cool technology
Any chance you could do a video on the emergence and stand, and then follow the crop through canopy?
That looks like something from Farming Simulator!
The US design though lol
It is a nice tractor.
Will fendt ever adapt the challenger articulated tractors into there lineup do you think?
Unfortunately not. The MT900 series 4wds were retired from production in 2021.
Horsh and Fent in America! wow!

It can seed a bunch of acres in a hurry.
Good video.
Thank you for watching.
what a little beast this tractor is.
The 943 at 431 hp is like a smaller 4wd tractor in Hp.
Where I work we have 3 620 case IH quad tracks an 2 wheeled 9620R's one with duals the other with fat tires and 3 8370R's
Doesn't look like they changed them much from when they were Challengers. I drive a 738 and I must say it is like riding on a marshmellow ....
MAN engine, Fendt VarioDrive transmission, Fendt suspension and Fendt interior are some of the differences.

Yes, GPS and the system called RowControl are available on Horsch Products. They are made in germany, bavaria.
Does a twin track tractor have any advantage over a quad track? The quad track seem to be more popular.

Two track tractors flex 2 tracks over 2 large diameter rollers. Four track tractors have more tracks, more rollers, more flexing over smaller rollers consuming more power.
The downfall of twin tracks is all the power goes to the outside track when turning. It can break traction and spin out when turning.
Another Great Video with More AGCO Brand Equipment. I really like the New Fendt Track tractors.
Three AGCO videos in a row 😁

I would like to see track trac tractors cutting silage....
Me too 😁👍👍
The Challenger MT743 is very similar. I think they come from the same factory.
They are. There are differences in the controls in the cab. Challenger models are custom order units now.
✌️✌️✌️
😁👍👍
I have a friend that has one ITS JUNK and can't keep it running
Kinda surprised they didn’t use the MAN engine. Seems like most of the fendt high horse power went to that.
This one is a Challenger cross over where the 1100 Vario MTs were a new release with CVT. The next gen 900 MTs may go to MAN too. Time will tell.
I much like the Challenger better than Fendt, should have kept Challenger bonnet/hood on, basicly its badge engineering.
I am hoping to get a Challenger MT743 and MT867 filmed this year. You can still Special order them but I don’t think it will last long.
You can call it a track-tor 🥴
Buy North American and keep employment up-!
