100% recommend you this game if you're story & music lover. easy farm, doesn't even take 10min or an hour to complete your Daily Task if we compared with other games. also it's a healthy & cute game too to put smile on your face unlike other gacha which are full of depression or horny.
@@ichisenzy yes it's really healthy game if you dk about community(like I used too before) because no one will have to tell you what students you should use or stuff(but still I prefer some RUclipsrs' guides if I'm having hard in some Raids or Challenges after many tries) & which might makes you start caring about Meta students for getting high scores instead of caring about every students(like Suzumi, Kirino, Nonomi, Nodoka, Juri, Ayane etc), also might makes you feel down by seeing other people pulls(yeah useless small details but somehow can effect on your mood & that's opposite of game's real goal) that's why I'm not in any discord servers, because too much cute & funny can be bad for you. also let's not forget about it's Discord(kinda like drug for some of us including me who used to waste his whole day on it which also bad for health) & also can push you in bad environment depends on community for example Genshin(my cousin had bad time there) or people you're with. but I agreed BA community is the best community & full of helping Gentlemen(Senseis) especially thanks to gatekeepers who protect community from both Twittards, Westards & their poisonousass.

A few people have already said this But, it REALLY is best to just go ahead on react to the other PV’s. Those PV’s will definitely convince you in some ways to actually get behind BA. PV’s 2-4 will pretty much highlight moments in regards to the general story and what’s in store for you. Others have already stated enough in-depth aspects of the gameplay and such. The main takeaway of Blue Archive is the simplistic yet at times challenging gameplay with a mix of Slice of life comedy and the whole “innocent” military school life setting for the story aspect all the while banging to some outstanding BGM/OST from some seriously talented set of composers that have a key distinct style to the music they compose and not to mention all around well-grounded character designs that just vibes well with the aesthetic of Blue Archive’s motif.
Kinda irked me how he called the guns "high caliber assault weapons". Like what's next? It's as heavy as 15 boxes you might be moving, or a pistol brace is like a bump stock that makes the gun a bigger caliber, or it has a shoulder thing that goes up, or it has heat seeking bullets, or it is a 50 caliber ghost gun that has 30 magazine clips that can dispense in half a second? Like high caliber assault weapon is not a term that people who actually use guns use. Because it doesn't really describe much in a technical sense and is just a fearmongering term. The only "high caliber" small arms you can arguably see being used in Blue Archive are Mashiro's Anzio Ironworks 20mm, Hiyori's Denel NTW-20, and Karin's Boys Anti-tank rifle. And "assault weapon" is nothing more than a legal and political term used to incite fearmongering, whereas assault rifle simply refers to a rifle chambered in an intermediate cartridge with multiple firing modes. Also, if you think about it, Angel24 selling guns is basically just American Walmart lol. Kivotos sure takes their Second Amendment seriously. BA devs actually made sure to cater to us gun nuts too, with stuff like the loading screen of Azusa disassembling her rifle featuring various parts, obscure forgotten weapons like Juri's M30 Luftwaffe Drilling, the subtle detail of Miyu's L2D having boxes labeled with the correct ammunition for her rifle (7.62x54mmR for her M39 Mosin, of Finnish origin like the rest of RABBIT Squad's weapons), giving weapons made by different countries to different academies, the mentioning of zeroing optics in Kirino's L2D, and more. The writers certainly did their research, which is cool and funny when you consider how the dev team for an anime waifu game probably understands the mechanics of a firearm better than the Fallout and Far Cry devs.

It's a cute, mostly casual game with funnily written characters. Its BGM is full of bangers, too. I use Blue Archive as a comfy game to destress after malding in pain cage.
The best OST so far in the Mobile Gacha scene, lots of it are ranging from chill to bangers. Story is great, very engaging and good comedy. Gameplay is fun and F2P friendly. Also another story that could make you play Blue Archive. Blue Archive triggers the exposure of Korean Ratings board corruption. A game that exposed corruption within the Korean government IRL.
Haha! a concealed or open carry hand gun is a far cry from some kind of rifle casually slung over the shoulder in a 7-11. Which I feel like even from American standards is pretty bold lol!
Fun fact: over 5000 players marched on the South Korean game rating board and got them shut down by exposing their corruption and incompetence. Those guns aren't just for show, we take down whole government bodies with the power of 😭
Strong Points 1.Story Line it's suprisingly good. It's normally cheerful with dark undertones which at later points of the Main Story those Dark Undertones and several Overarching stories converge. 2.Artwork as you said so yourself Blue Archive's art style is a resounding success (it's getting an anime adaption for reason buddy) 3.Character Design and Personality No two characters are exactly the same.. every single character introduced honestly has a unique personality or quirk about them. 4. The Combat first off is a side scroller chibi tactical design, albeit it may very well be the only game you'll ever see do this style of combat. The combat is a bit more of a hands off approach, as much of the attacks are automated but this can be turned off to allow for more freedom. In Harder content Like Raids, it does require some outside the box thinking, as you'll need to equip the correct order of students or examine what kind of terrain they excell at or what Position they're placed to portray the best results. If your going F2p the game actually can be F2p for the most part, (well except during collabs or limited units that rarely appear like once a yr but this as I said is a rare situation.) Many of the game's 2 & 3* are actually insanely Overpowered once ranked up once or twice. F2p Characters worth investing into A. Chise blue haired little demon priestess she uses an AoE Napalm G. Launcher. B. Hane The best single target Healer Support in the game End of story. C. Asuna The well endowed Happy Sunshine Maid who's litterally the game's Maid Mascot. She's so good at what she does that she's Univerally useful in any team comp. D. Kotori a Lv 1 Support grants so many attack buffs it's kind of cheating almost.. E. Midori one of the gamer cat girl twins, think of her as the "Mario" of the two both are useful in their own way but shine best together. F. Tsubaki the Bear girl shrine maiden is the BEST Tank in the fluffing game period. Her survivability once invested into a little bit becomes absurd.. She's the "Maple" of Blue Archive. G. Yuuka not the most amazing tank but sure as hell one of the most reliable, If you get her Cheer squad version and team them up everyone gets an OP AF overshield on top of their shield. But regular Yuuka is probably one of the more reliable Self tanks in the game. She becomes even harder to kill once you raise her likeability to Lv30 as she gets a 4th Gear slot making her absurdly resilient to the point she can face tank Raid boss lasers with her shield and laugh it off. H. Everyone from Abydos school Literally the starter characters are equivalent to Warframe's Excalibur in being really broken early-mid game. Hopefully you find this helpful IF you decide to start an account. Also the Support Ako is super game breaking as she offers crit rate, crit dmg and healing at Lv1 and this just improves with each rank up. Also If you look at the gear pieces a handful of student have a Locked 4th gear slot this is unlocked by raising their likeability rating too do this invite them to the cafe and headpat the character or speak to them using the game's version of a smartphone this will cause interactive events to occur, read the dialgue wisely as u may only get one chance to get the best results.. These interactions add bonus stats to the character that you'd normally not recieve otherwise as well as some flirtatious or badass looking animated artwork for your login screen. Best Limited characters as of now, are Mika,Toki, Karin, Himare & Ako these five are all account breakingly OP. I wish you luck.
The whole vibe of BA is akin to GFL. A lot of cute vibes, music, schoolife and a lot of goofy stuff. But behind it all, there is an impressive story and lots of foreshadowing of a depressing future ( but we are already familiar with Honkai and PGR). Also, the music is a banger. Kanna and Saori for life.
I don't know why but for me Blue Archive doesn't feel like a rat race or a grindfest where you have to get the latest student. They're just like, yeah, go at your own pace, do whatever you want, use the freebies if you are unlucky. But the selling point for me is the stories. The devs really put their souls into them. This includes character relationship stories and the main story. They doesn't just release new characters willy nilly but take times to build the character. Give them backstory, where they're coming from, where they are heading, just little stuff like that make me feel like no character is a background NPC. Hell, even the community likes the NPCs and that speaks something idk.
The PVs really show the story more than this initial video. PV 2, 4, and 1st year PV (animated) are the best. Definitely are what draw the people to this game.
As a guy who doesn't play BA (since it isn't aviable in my country, in the most literal sense) but is highly facinated by it. I can say this, gameplay wise it is very off hands (which works out for me as I tend to play mobile games that are like that more often then not). The overal story is imo better then most gacha stories as it doesn't rely on the over the top edgy or dark stories that quite a bit of gacha games use. Its an interesting story with fun characters that knows what it wants. There are dark undertones to the story, but (as far as I am aware) they get progessed nicely into the later parts of it. The characters themselves are all interesting and fun. Each of them are fairly easily disguinshable from one another. Art direction and character design I like alot. Its cute and charming with some interesting things going on. I mean, this is an example and a (sort of? Idk) hot take from me. I am not interested in lolis, its really weird to me no matter how many times I see it (but not to the point I harrass people over it) but Hina just hits different, like good lord is she cool, adorable AND wholesome as fuck. Anyway... The music from the tracks I heard, they do their job and are fine. I don't hate them or love them either. As for the gacha? No fucking clue, but I heard its good. Idk what it is but it is good apperently. So all in all, from all I have seen on the side lines. It is worth a shot and I understand (to a certain degree) what people like about the game. As for the fanbase? From what I have seen, yeah they're all degenerates, but its like they have fully accepted it and it became one of the most wholesome and awesome fanbases I am aware of. Its oddly refreshing really, since almost any fandom has more toxic waste then a nuclear wasteplant. But thats all from me and my insight so far. I might get more into it from the sidelines or not, we'll just see.

Looking for a new job, trying my life a bit by bit in order and all that jazz. It also didn't help that I am on a holiday where I am visiting family in the US. Chapter 2,3 and especially VOL F are peak 2) Ost: During the story is relaxing, with the correct tension and drama in the peak moments. Battle ost are good. From joyful ost to sad ones, you can find anything 3) Gacha: F2p friendly 4) Combat system: Simple, easy to understand 5) Farming: Not heavy. Autoclear for resources. Missions can be boring but that's it. Nothing in comparison to Arknights autobattle 6) Graphics: Splash arts 2D are very good. 3D chibi in games are a little bit outdated, but you can deal with it 7) Stability: Very stable gacha game with high revenue in peak moment like 20M in Japan 8) Endgame content: PvP( not recommended for f2p), Joint assault 9) Time consuming: No, it's not an aggressive time consuming gacha and you can go to your own pace

Ranging from humans, to demons, to angels, to even androids. 3. It's a school theme but it gets straight to politics, finance, wars, government, and stuff like that quick in the story.

Tbh Maxor does use music from a load of gacha games in his videos, but yeh this game is fun and very f2p friendly and the story is nothing short of absolutely funny. Yeh there is meant to be some dark moments but the majority of this game feels like a wholesome slice of life (not including the last 3 chapters) and is characters are cute asf. The demographic is different and yes it makes more money than PGR but honestly that dont matter because gaming is subjective. PGR never advertised their game at the start much anyways but nexon did and earnt more which is honestly expected. Anyways many gacha games are a masterpiece in their own way, even if it does have a load of PNGs or whatever, they show how great they are in their own way like Arknights and their amazing story and music
I never wanted to play it cause the gameplay looked so boring to me but every day RUclips would recommend me music from it and I just said Fuck it lets try it. Gameplay is NOT boring, maybe when youre in end game and can just auto everything but thats every gacha game. The autos in this game are soo good. If no event I can be in for 10 minutes every 12 hours and I did everything I had to do. The story is pretty good. Some arcs i was meh about but others i dropped everything to experience. Music is top tier! Usagi Flap was on repeat in my head for months, now its Usagi Flap summer edition. The big turn off for most is, i think, that most of the characters are under 18, like cononically. Everyone's age is there in game so when you go the the degen side of the internet you see stuff you dont want to, but just dont go over there and you'll enjoy it. BA is one of my 8 gachas and one of the last ones I'd drop if I have to. Its so good! Give it a try with an open mind and you'll enjoy it so much. And very f2p, can get a good amount of students when starting.
I just started a couple of months ago. Coming from another gatcha, BA has really good stories, great music, and the girls with guns are amazing. The gatchas are pretty tough though, and its a bit of a drag to farm the 'gems' (pyroxenes). Luckily, most gatcha banners are rate-ups, and the majority of these characters can be obtained anytime. They are very generous with free gatchas, which helps a ton for newbies to at least aquire blue and gold characters
so uhh... rather than watching the version PVs you should just watch the 2nd PV 3rd PV and 4th PV to get into the real meat of the game "secret" main selling point
Look, if I never play Blue Archive I will judge hard people who play it too Because I play it, now I will still judge... but not as hard Some things that Blue Archive has done right: 1. Music... is subjective but most of the fandom agrees it's really good. The song cover community is also nuts tho 2. The story is really unique compared to other gacha which mostly start in high-stress/intense situations or settings. This game starts pretty calm but when shits go down you can actually feel what's stolen from you 3. Farming is easy. if you don't want to progress, you can just skip battles you've done 4. Gameplay starts easy but in the late game, especially if you want to be on the leader board, it can have a high ceiling that challenges either your skills or wallet 5. Personally I think the Art design is so clean Oh and in my observation, the main character is BASED compared to other gacha that just has self-insert MC. I feel the main character has actual will and compassion when they do things in the story (sensei is just a shonen MC isekaid to harem with a political conspiracy theme)

Honestly one of if not the best gacha game I've ever played. The characters are interesting, story just straight up entertaining, and don't forget the banger OST. Gameplay is pretty simple, but can be challenging at times. Also it's super F2P friendly with the gearing system and getting the character to max stars. It also respect the player's time by providing a skip option for the battle and the story (and you can still read the story later in the archives if you want to). If you decided to try it, please treat it as a "side game" to get the maximum enjoyment, as it's not meant to be played for hours and hours (except if you decided to grind or blast through the story).
Well, its good game to refresh the mental health after playing PGR, so i think it good to try it out, and i will be ready with my phone to dial officer 😉

Perhaps for majority of Americans, guns and students are very sensitive topics. The school shootings crime are a the most terrible and dangerous subject that never stops even these days. I would not recommend to play this game if someone who worried about that kind of issues. But of course obviously this is just a game, contains fiction and whom didn't ask and never care, I would highly recommend this game if you like sub cultural experience.
I believe there's nearly same amount of Milfs too in game. & tbh I adore both loli & milf side because of their nature & stories, body types nothing has to do when it comes to helping & support your Students.

Strong Points
1.Story Line it's suprisingly good. It's normally cheerful with dark undertones which at later points of the Main Story those Dark Undertones and several Overarching stories converge.
2.Artwork as you said so yourself Blue Archive's art style is a resounding success (it's getting an anime adaption for reason buddy)
3.Character Design and Personality No two characters are exactly the same.. every single character introduced honestly has a unique personality or quirk about them.
4. The Combat first off is a side scroller chibi tactical design, albeit it may very well be the only game you'll ever see do this style of combat. The combat is a bit more of a hands off approach, as much of the attacks are automated but this can be turned off to allow for more freedom.
In Harder content Like Raids, it does require some outside the box thinking, as you'll need to equip the correct order of students or examine what kind of terrain they excell at or what Position they're placed to portray the best results.
If your going F2p the game actually can be F2p for the most part, (well except during collabs or limited units that rarely appear like once a yr but this as I said is a rare situation.)
Many of the game's 2 & 3* are actually insanely Overpowered once ranked up once or twice.
F2p Characters worth investing into
A. Chise blue haired little demon priestess she uses an AoE Napalm G. Launcher.
B. Hane The best single target Healer Support in the game End of story.
C. Asuna The well endowed Happy Sunshine Maid who's litterally the game's Maid Mascot.
She's so good at what she does that she's Univerally useful in any team comp.
D. Kotori a Lv 1 Support grants so many attack buffs it's kind of cheating almost..
E. Midori one of the gamer cat girl twins, think of her as the "Mario" of the two both are useful in their own way but shine best together.
F. Tsubaki the Bear girl shrine maiden is the BEST Tank in the fluffing game period. Her survivability once invested into a little bit becomes absurd.. She's the "Maple" of Blue Archive.
G. Yuuka not the most amazing tank but sure as hell one of the most reliable, If you get her Cheer squad version and team them up everyone gets an OP AF overshield on top of their shield. But regular Yuuka is probably one of the more reliable Self tanks in the game. She becomes even harder to kill once you raise her likeability to Lv30 as she gets a 4th Gear slot making her absurdly resilient to the point she can face tank Raid boss lasers with her shield and laugh it off.
H. Everyone from Abydos school Literally the starter characters are equivalent to Warframe's Excalibur in being really broken early-mid game.
Hopefully you find this helpful IF you decide to start an account. Also the Support Ako is super game breaking as she offers crit rate, crit dmg and healing at Lv1 and this just improves with each rank up.
Also If you look at the gear pieces a handful of student have a Locked 4th gear slot this is unlocked by raising their likeability rating too do this invite them to the cafe and headpat the character or speak to them using the game's version of a smartphone this will cause interactive events to occur, read the dialgue wisely as u may only get one chance to get the best results.. These interactions add bonus stats to the character that you'd normally not recieve otherwise as well as some flirtatious or badass looking animated artwork for your login screen.
Best Limited characters as of now, are
Mika,Toki, Karin, Himare & Ako these five are all account breakingly OP. I wish you luck.
The whole vibe of BA is akin to GFL. A lot of cute vibes, music, schoolife and a lot of goofy stuff. But behind it all, there is an impressive story and lots of foreshadowing of a depressing future ( but we are already familiar with Honkai and PGR). Also, the music is a banger.

Blue archive is life, blue archive is us.
I don't know why but for me Blue Archive doesn't feel like a rat race or a grindfest where you have to get the latest student. They're just like, yeah, go at your own pace, do whatever you want, use the freebies if you are unlucky. But the selling point for me is the stories. The devs really put their souls into them. This includes character relationship stories and the main story. They doesn't just release new characters willy nilly but take times to build the character. Give them backstory, where they're coming from, where they are heading, just little stuff like that make me feel like no character is a background NPC. Hell, even the community likes the NPCs and that speaks something idk.
The PVs really show the story more than this initial video. PV 2, 4, and 1st year PV (animated) are the best. Definitely are what draw the people to this game.
As a guy who doesn't play BA (since it isn't aviable in my country, in the most literal sense) but is highly facinated by it. I can say this, gameplay wise it is very off hands (which works out for me as I tend to play mobile games that are like that more often then not). The overal story is imo better then most gacha stories as it doesn't rely on the over the top edgy or dark stories that quite a bit of gacha games use. Its an interesting story with fun characters that knows what it wants. There are dark undertones to the story, but (as far as I am aware) they get progessed nicely into the later parts of it.
The characters themselves are all interesting and fun. Each of them are fairly easily disguinshable from one another.
Art direction and character design I like alot. Its cute and charming with some interesting things going on. I mean, this is an example and a (sort of? Idk) hot take from me. I am not interested in lolis, its really weird to me no matter how many times I see it (but not to the point I harrass people over it) but Hina just hits different, like good lord is she cool, adorable AND wholesome as fuck. Anyway...
The music from the tracks I heard, they do their job and are fine. I don't hate them or love them either.
As for the gacha? No fucking clue, but I heard its good. Idk what it is but it is good apperently.
So all in all, from all I have seen on the side lines. It is worth a shot and I understand (to a certain degree) what people like about the game. As for the fanbase? From what I have seen, yeah they're all degenerates, but its like they have fully accepted it and it became one of the most wholesome and awesome fanbases I am aware of. Its oddly refreshing really, since almost any fandom has more toxic waste then a nuclear wasteplant.
But thats all from me and my insight so far. I might get more into it from the sidelines or not, we'll just see.

Looking for a new job, trying my life a bit by bit in order and all that jazz. It also didn't help that I am on a holiday where I am visiting family in the US. So I just didn't have the time to sit down yet.

Glad that many comments here pointed out the two most powerful things of the game
1) Story: Very easy to understand ( in comparison to Arknights and Honkai, yes), and also very beautiful, not heavy to read. Chapter 2,3 and especially VOL F are peak
2) Ost: During the story is relaxing, with the correct tension and drama in the peak moments. Battle ost are good. From joyful ost to sad ones, you can find anything
3) Gacha: F2p friendly
4) Combat system: Simple, easy to understand
5) Farming: Not heavy. Autoclear for resources. Missions can be boring but that's it. Nothing in comparison to Arknights autobattle
6) Graphics: Splash arts 2D are very good. 3D chibi in games are a little bit outdated, but you can deal with it
7) Stability: Very stable gacha game with high revenue in peak moment like 20M in Japan
8) Endgame content: PvP( not recommended for f2p), Joint assault
9) Time consuming: No, it's not an aggressive time consuming gacha and you can go to your own pace
Blue Archive can be explained in 1 sentence: Cute girls with guns (and tanks, and helicopters, and railgun...)

1. Yes, everyone has a gun here and there's no males here. Well, there are males, but not playable.
2. There's a variety of races here. Ranging from humans, to demons, to angels, to even androids.
3. It's a school theme but it gets straight to politics, finance, wars, government, and stuff like that quick in the story.

3 NEXON treat this like its own baby . the infamous NEXON that shut down left and right game IP in the past is somehow redeem themselves with this game that they have very own created, not associate other game studio to make it , NEXON usually publish "others creation", but this time they "create their own" . they give a fuck ton of free gems out of nowhere , sometime you dont even know why you get 10 free pull .
4 the MUSIC is fuking LIT ! , yeah you get everybody claim their game have the best music what so ever, but none the claim music is used world wide like BA music . alot of memer YTber use BA music bcos of how catchy it is . MAX0R used alot of BA music in his EDIT when he dint even play the game .
Tbh Maxor does use music from a load of gacha games in his videos, but yeh this game is fun and very f2p friendly and the story is nothing short of absolutely funny. Yeh there is meant to be some dark moments but the majority of this game feels like a wholesome slice of life (not including the last 3 chapters) and is characters are cute asf. The demographic is different and yes it makes more money than PGR but honestly that dont matter because gaming is subjective. PGR never advertised their game at the start much anyways but nexon did and earnt more which is honestly expected. Anyways many gacha games are a masterpiece in their own way, even if it does have a load of PNGs or whatever, they show how great they are in their own way like Arknights and their amazing story and music

Gameplay is okay, but the story is simple and fun. The story really carries it a lot, and the bgm and osts are great!!!
I never wanted to play it cause the gameplay looked so boring to me but every day RUclips would recommend me music from it and I just said Fuck it lets try it. Gameplay is NOT boring, maybe when youre in end game and can just auto everything but thats every gacha game. The autos in this game are soo good. If no event I can be in for 10 minutes every 12 hours and I did everything I had to do. The story is pretty good. Some arcs i was meh about but others i dropped everything to experience. Music is top tier! Usagi Flap was on repeat in my head for months, now its Usagi Flap summer edition. The big turn off for most is, i think, that most of the characters are under 18, like cononically. Everyone's age is there in game so when you go the the degen side of the internet you see stuff you dont want to, but just dont go over there and you'll enjoy it. BA is one of my 8 gachas and one of the last ones I'd drop if I have to. Its so good! Give it a try with an open mind and you'll enjoy it so much. And very f2p, can get a good amount of students when starting.

I just started a couple of months ago. Coming from another gatcha, BA has really good stories, great music, and the girls with guns are amazing. The gatchas are pretty tough though, and its a bit of a drag to farm the 'gems' (pyroxenes). Luckily, most gatcha banners are rate-ups, and the majority of these characters can be obtained anytime. They are very generous with free gatchas, which helps a ton for newbies to at least aquire blue and gold characters
The best thing about BA is the doujins tbh 😎

Some things that Blue Archive has done right:
1. Music... is subjective but most of the fandom agrees it's really good. The song cover community is also nuts tho
2. The story is really unique compared to other gacha which mostly start in high-stress/intense situations or settings. This game starts pretty calm but when shits go down you can actually feel what's stolen from you
3. Farming is easy. if you don't want to progress, you can just skip battles you've done
4. Gameplay starts easy but in the late game, especially if you want to be on the leader board, it can have a high ceiling that challenges either your skills or wallet
5. Personally I think the Art design is so clean
Oh and in my observation, the main character is BASED compared to other gacha that just has self-insert MC. I feel the main character has actual will and compassion when they do things in the story (sensei is just a shonen MC isekaid to harem with a political conspiracy theme)

Ngl it was my first impression on the game too until I actually played it.
Honestly one of if not the best gacha game I've ever played.
The characters are interesting, story just straight up entertaining, and don't forget the banger OST.
Gameplay is pretty simple, but can be challenging at times. Also it's super F2P friendly with the gearing system and getting the character to max stars. It also respect the player's time by providing a skip option for the battle and the story (and you can still read the story later in the archives if you want to).
If you decided to try it, please treat it as a "side game" to get the maximum enjoyment, as it's not meant to be played for hours and hours (except if you decided to grind or blast through the story).
