Def main rapper for a reason lol I think ppl don’t understand rap bc Jennie and Lisa have totally different styles of rap and that’s why they rap certain parts. Lisa raps with a swag and a sass.. just a hot ass baddie girl rapper with a swaggy flow…. Jennie raps more like a dude.. ESPECIALLY live… she’s way more aggressive and typically gets the more difficult cadences and flow switches … and if you see enough lives you can hear that Lisa pretty much uses her natural tone when rapping and kinda stays in that lane… Jennie changes her tone depending on the song they’re doing and the style of that song will determine who does what raps. Also bc Jennie and Jisoo are both lead vocalists .. and Lisa is only a sub vocal… Jennie gets the melodic rap parts, rap parts and vocal parts and Lisa gets rap parts and sings background vocal parts for the other girls who have higher vocal positions… so what people considers Jennie singing is like how jhope from BTS is a rapper and sub vocal… he does all the BTS melodic rap parts bc he’s the only rapper who has a vocal position lol I’m just hoping they get a good amount of quality songs and of course main rapper Jennie killing the bars live. The girls deserve way better all of them… I’m really hoping that all 4 get what they deserve in a comeback!!! They kinda sleep on Jennie’s rapping bad on this channel still lol he’s a Lisa bias so that’s understandable a bit

Yep, you're right, I was about to comment this that its such a rare thing seeing Lisa singing whole verses in 2017 and yes it was kinda her choice, she revealed in their Rolling Stones interview that she was going thru some struggles with her voice in 2017/18 where she was feeling like a 3rd wheel to the group she felt that she was bringing the group down because of her voice coz she had a lot of difficulties to sing since she was more a rapper,but Teddy (yes our Teddy) helped her a lot to sing more and she said if wasnt his help she wouldnt have improved her singing, as u can see she bearly sings in their 1st years (this is so cool, Im mean its not cool seeing that she was down with her singing voice, but its cool to see that she revealed how she felt and how teddy helped her with her voice) so yes thats one of the reasors they didnt give her a lot of singing parts, but after 2018 with Teddy's help (and the girls' help) she started to sing more and being more comfortable with her voice... Lisa probably was not given as much rap for this live performance because her Korean wasn't as strong back then. They went on several live shows and reality shows for promotions and later on lots of folks complimented Lisa on how much her Korean has improved. Now we know that Lisa kills it with Korean, English and so many other languages as well.
Jennie rapping both GD and Top's parts really killed it in this cover. But Blackpink definitely hits hardest when the two of them trade off on their rap.

well you can't blame us blinks if we're too sensitive whenever his name was mentioned next to Jennie cause J got so much hate when their dating news came out. People criticize their relationship cause we all know that he has known her ever since she was a minor and basically seen her grow up so yeah if you think about it, it's hella weird and creepy but like you said, it's their life and fans should just mind their own business and let these idols breathe.
