Thanks a lot for this tutorial. But I followed it for a size 42 bust and 38 waist, shaping at the side from the chest line is giving a slanting out line to the waist instead of a slanting in at the waist. I have double checked my measurements, all are accurate. Please can you help out? Thanks alot 😢

It is because the person’s waist measurement is quite big.
So after taking the dart at the waist and adding the dart intake to your measurement, it will definitely be sloppy outwards instead of inwards because of her body shape
There is nothing you can do about that you have to cut it like that, after sewing and she wears it it will come out fitted
