Great funk playing reminds me of Stanley Clarke. I feel like the tapping is in rock ballad style and doesn't fit would have expect more of an R & B ballad vibe. It's a little too pretty in my opinion

Singing to what you're playing is usually easier than talking. Being able to talk like that while doing a two hand tap run is massive dexterity and muscle memory.

Seriously Charles, bass player for over 40 years here, you have surpassed all of my bass player idols with clean technique, funky grooves, melodic solos, and a wide range of mind blowing playing styles. Keep up the great work. Would love to see you tour someday!
I'm a fan of this guy, for me he's the best in the world, he plays very beautifully, I've never heard such a beautiful sound. Most famous bass players make a loud noise at a lot of speed but don't say anything. But this guy is the best! greetings from Brazil!
Then I recommend you to listen to Nuclear Power Trio ... they have an amazing bassist that does a lot of really precise grooving :)

That's a great track you wrote here! It has a kind of Marcus Miller-y structure, I love it. Maybe just a tad too much cymbals at the beginning of the last tapping section. But the rest is awesome!

Hi, what kind of strings do you use and what diameter? I play a 6 string bass and have never tried anything smaller than a diameter of 130, and I don't know which ones to try.

Beautiful and exceptionally well played as always but if I had one criticism it's that you almost never spend any time in the bassy part of the bass! This is a perfect example - down tuning the E string and making almost no use of it in the song. Your sense of time and flow is second to none, I would LOVE to hear you write some down low grooves that no doubt would be absolutely killer!
