Pag dating sa law school, I got the impression that lectures happen in a big lecture hall but I guess that also depends on the law school. Mejo comforting din to know that the classroom setting will retain in law school.

I disagree with the rule "we should speak in english in law school and law practice". In the first place, most of the client in court are Filipinos and second, understanding the law in Filipino language is more easier way than to explain it in English. We are not born as a English. And based on the study, those uses their primary language are more intellect than using their second language. That's why, we are behind on the survey of intellect people. Pinipilit natin aralin o isa buhay ang wikang banyaga na hindi naman natin kinagisnan.
Nasa constitution kasi na ang official language ng Pilipinas ay English at Filipino so May basis talaga na English ang gagamitin pero bilang abogado it's your duty to explain to your client especially kapag indigent Sa Tagalog para maiwasan din yung maling interpretasyon ng rulings
I'm a freshman student taking Philosophy as pre-law. Various would mumble "bat Anjan ka, why didn't you choose this and that" I often answer them " Useful over Usual". Currently, I'm having a hard time battling with this new normal. Truth? We are bombarded wt lots of readings to the point that I can't finish a single one without having the urge to cry. As of now, I sleep a lot as in LOT like I wanna consume every single day sleeping. I was in the moment where I doubt if I can still pursue law school and if kakayanin ko ba cause if not? I might shift to other courses. As I search for other courses here on yt "the bar boys movie" popped out of nowhere. After watching it, I'm sure as the sun will rise tomorrow that wherever the future may bring me I'LL BECOME AN ATTORNEY NOT TO DEFEND CASES BUT RATHER TO BE A VOICE TO HUMANITY. Thank you atty. I'm a senior citizen . I remembered my Phil. taxation class while watching your reaction video . We had a lawyer teacher and we had this recitation - he asked one of my classmate a question while tapping his shoes with quite piercing eyes so that my classmate was quite nervous and said, "Sir please don't look at me like that" ...ha ha...well anyway we were not law school students!
Watching this made me recall a recitation I had with one of my favorite law proper professors during my bachelors. Long story short, spent a good amount of time convincing and arguing that the crime is frustrated since the trajectory of the bullet merely grazed the neck of the victim, thus, not killing the latter. Oh how I was so wrong HAHA. Looking back at this now, considering I'm already in law school as a 2nd year, the essence of recitation will always be substance, application, and the persistence over your claims, as was demonstrated in the last recitation scene. To put, study as if someone's life depended on it. Nice video, Atty. Errol! More videos please! (Small suggestion: A series of reaction videos on law-related shows/movies and grade them according to how realistic it is to actual law practice)

Been there, done that... Ginawa ko yan nung nagturo ako sa Mapua, since no dress code dun, prof and students. Nag-Disguise ako as student and nagulat sila. Which I also got from one of our professors in college (ME top 6), and I also got 8th place in arki board way back a decade ago.

Agree, when i was in college, we have 1/8 index card, together with our 1x1 picture and complete name, then random picking for recitation, as far as i remember one my my classmate got fainted during our class recitation and brought to clinic HAHAH
Reaction: yung intensity po nung socratic method hindi pa msyadong hurting kc po online class po samin. We only got to taste it over a week lang before total lockdown, that was last year po. But online or not, we all had that fair share of insults din naman, lalo ung pinapangaralan kana ng prof, dahil sobrang entitled na nga daw masyado, sobrang irresponsible pa din minsan, because of not reading the cases. (Sorry, I haven't read the case yet, atty.) is a mortal sin. ^_^
I think the size of the index cards at the beginning were for cinematic purposes! To show the audience who was called on and what grade they received. Besides that, I’m not really a law student or plan to be one but I really learned a lot from this reaction video! Different fields of study are super interesting! :)

Not a law student but sa University na attend ko-may once instance na "Paper Chase" was shown and wow, di kami part ng law class but viewers lang pero na terrozize kami. Yung na experience ko sa Prof ko sa Bio-parang same din dito sa film.

i love it in my political science and i excel on this subject my grade was 1.5 but i did not pursue in going to law school because i want a different career which i am happy at the moment. i love this movies per see, love your review attorney.

Do you think sir dapat mabago yung system natin regarding medium of instruction sa law school and law practice in general? Kasi our law is written in English at for me nagkakaroon din yun ng barrier sa pagiging successful ng students. Kasi if you go sa mga kapitbahay nating bansa own language nila ang gamit.
