    So, I realized that I forgot to mention the "Pro" of paid. The pro is that once you dial it in, it's the fastest way to scale a product :)

    Start with the highest priced service you offer...So simplistically genius.....Best advice I have received in 3 years of music production

      Glad you got value from it! Starting with the highest price thing you offer and using that to launch smaller offers is based on Tesla's business model :)

    This is interesting because I’ve been hearing a lot with tech companies to make a MVP, minimum viable product.
    But with your strategy it’s the opposite, build a high ticket maximum viable product.
    This is good because music can easily be broken down into low ticket minimum viable products. For example making a beat can be broken down into sample loops.
    Thanks for the great video!! 💎🙏

    I like what you said about the bigger the problem you solved the easier it is to sell, the problem with that for me is most these mfs dont even know they have a problem (the problem being that the need to be produced and developed). I know that's somewhat along the lines of sales but do you have an advice on that, I figure you might?

    • @darklabelmusic
      @darklabelmusic  3 года назад +2

      Thanks for watching Jeff. Yep, a few things come to mind... One is having examples. When others see what you've done with an artist then they will want to know "your way". Second would be education. Make a list of all of the "stuff" you WISH artists knew and put that out as content. Pretty much everyone that reaches out to us is serious because they've gone through our content first. Third is going to be a conversations process... The closest video I have on this channel that goes into that is called like "Turning a collab into a paid project" (something like that). Basically it's a consultative style conversation that helps them realize what their own problem is. It's how I do all of my calls. Hope that helps. Wait. Last part is internal. Calling artists "MFs" tells me that there is some resentment/frustration (not uncommon). Do whatever you have to do to flip that into empathy and understanding. Seems weird but it works.

      @@darklabelmusic Okay cool thanks bro really appreciate that, sounds like good advice, & I'll check that video out.
      & nah I can see how you would interpret it that way but that's just how we talk where i live, everybody is a mf lol it dont mean mf like mf but that's very intuitive of you though good eye.

    Hi Daniel, can we sell the samples we make from those free samples?

    • @darklabelmusic
      @darklabelmusic  3 года назад +1

      Yep! Have at it. They are just raw sounds that you can take and turn into other samples/sounds/loops. Just make sure to make 'em your own :)
