you made sense in the first 2 minutes sir, thank you for this! ive been playing multiple instruments for the better half of 20 +years.i kinda had a rough childhood and it was a way to escape, like therapy almost. anyway i realized i havent joined a band or anything in my life is because i dont think i want the fame that goes with it, and producing seems like it would be a way to unleash my creativity and somewhat stay out of the spotlight for it, while still getting paid, while maybe helping people the same way i learned how to help myself all those years ago, which i have alllllooottt of experience with lol! But alas, im all self taught, and even tho i can play almost anything by ear, thats as far as my EXP goes with all the other aspects of musik production. so basically i live the music part, but pretty much am figuring out the social norms for the public aspect, which you are explaining finally, so again, thank you SIR!

I was gaining some perspective on the internet and the Indian music industry and then I saw this video. Big help dude, I'm on my way to make some beats and sell them for some change on my life.
Thank you for elements 4+5. as an artist myself I can’t tell you how many DMs I’ve gotten from producers disguised as fans who didn’t say so from the beginning. When I realized they were trying to sell me something I would be so disappointed, it made me not work with them and since then I’ve sadly become sceptical of any real fan reaching out.

Have you considered writing a book or releasing an online course? I've read a bunch of the top music industry books, and they simply don't compare to the advice you give out here on Dark Label. I'm consider consulting, but as a recent college grad, a book or course is more do-able.

You're welcome! I appreciate you watching. All of the business models/income streams are fine. Profitable and stable is more about how the producer operates their business and less about the specific model/income streams they choose. I have a video on this coming soon :)
