When I saw this video I hadn't even considered the kill switch, but when I put my multi-meter across the switch BINGO! the switch was sticking. A good blast with switch cleaner, and then a tiny squeeze of WD 40 into the switch and shes idling like a cat purring! Thanks very much and please keep the vids coming.
It was a combination. Dirty carb and getting the low speed and high speed set correctly. As long as the carb is clean start with 1/2 or 3/4 turn out on both speed screws. One more thing I’ve learned is if you’re running canned fuel dump it out. Try fresh gas and a good synthetic 2cy oil. Some of these engines absolutely hate canned fuel.
