New podcast thumbnails for the first time in years, Derrick's left the podcast to do behind the scenes work, Kevin on cam way more, Dr Ryan's gonna lose christmascast again, the camera's are too dark so we can't use the main shot anymore, we're truly in a whole new era of Mega64 going into 2024
I haven’t watched the full podcast ep yet but is this a bit or is Derrick really not coming back?
@@SqueakyJpn jokes aside, who knows lol he’s very busy behind the scenes with stressful jobs for the channel and also some really creative personal ventures, so if something had to be cut for time it made sense for him to pause the podcasting for a bit. Like Shawn & Rocco have said, could last awhile, could last forever. Either way he’s absolutely involved in everything they do in some way, even if he’s not on the podcast currently. Do miss seeing him live though!

MGS 2 with Shawn repirsing his role as Raiden is top of my list of what I'd like to see next. It's perfect for Shawn because Raiden doesn't, like Shawn, doesn't know whats going on for the entire game.

The Rasputin Shitty DVDs discussions were my FAVE reoccurring bit on the podcast back in the day so this coming back alone was amazing for me, BUT THAT NEW INTRO FOR IT WAS SUCH A NOSTALGIA BLAST.
I 100 percent agree with Garret, Resident Evil in 5 minutes would be amazing.

The director of Godzilla Minus One is most known for his series "Always", one of which opens on a Godzilla dream sequence set in the same time period as Minus One. When the US movies were kicking up again, that dream sequence was passed around constantly as "US GODZILLA FIRST LOOK" in fake hype videos, and many people speculate that the popularity of that scene may have been what got Toho to consider taking him on for Minus One.
I think doing the Resident Evil series in 5 minutes would be tremendous.
Resident evil sweded would be incredible. This should be on the top of your list. That and more MGS would be cool too

I remember back in the day in the early 90s when you could go to Dollar General and you'd see Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla on VHS from like 5 different companies (and half of the copies were called Godzilla vs. Cosmic Monster)
So was it space Godzilla, or monster x?
@@chiapetobama7281 We're talking VHS releases in America. In 1992-3. It's all 1970s Mechagodzilla all the time, baby.
All the Heisei movies after Biollante didn't even exist in America until 1998, when they were released more or less as a tie-in for the Emmerich Godzilla movie. Even though the Trendmasters toys starting way back in 1994 were almost entirely based on the Heisei designs.

MGS 2 in 5 mins would be amazing! Feels like the next logical step to tackle after how amazing your MGS video was. Then 3, then 4 and call it.

On the topic of “what 5 minutes videos people want to see”, I would love to see Final Fantasy IV in 5 minutes. I think the plot structure and pacing of the game would be well suited for it, and I just really like that game a lot.

I was wondering if you could do Yu-Gi-Oh! In Five Minutes, and just make episodes for each part of the series, so Duelist Kingdom, Battle City, Waking The Dragons, Dawn of The Duel, maybe Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie In Five Minutes? And I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to help with that.

My mom subscribed to a service in the 90s called feature films for families. We got that in one of those, along with buttercream gang, and a bunch of others. I loved behind the waterfall as a kid. Haven't seen it since like 3rd grade.

Attack on Titan in 5minutes. Use forced perspective for the Titan scenes. Wear skin colored morph suits to look nude as a Titan. They sell exposed muscle suits too for some Titans. Basically biomechs like in Evangelion.
