Parents Should Train Their Children The Way God Trains Us
-His instruction is found in His Word (Jn 17:17; Ps 119:97).

-God’s discipline is designed to conform us to the image of Christ (Rom 8:29).
-Children can be made disciples by instilling values & life lessons parents have learned.
-Failure to discipline results in dishonor for both parent and child (Pro 10:1; 15:32).
-Eli, the priest failing to restrain his sons, was judged because he allowed them to dishonor God (1 Sam 3:13).
-God places children in families & gives parents guidance in how they're to be raised (Ps 127:3).
-The goal of good parenting is to produce wise children who know and honor God with their lives (Pro 23:24).
