Best case scenario you're causing the animal unnecessary stress and treating it like a toy/stuffed animal, worst case scenario Georgie jumps out of her hands while she's jostling him around and he gets hurt. For people who are wondering what morph patchy is, she’s a pastel morph. Ball pythons are naturally darker brown w/ blacks and the pastel morph basically makes the brown more yellow or generally brighter. (From what I understand)

I see people talking about how eret handled the animals and I wouldn’t do the things they’re doing sometimes but I also think not everybody has an understanding of how to handle animals and I truly think they just weren’t aware of what’s right and wrong especially if they’ve never met these animals before. I know it seems simple to a lot of people but not everybody has the same understanding it’s not like they showed up to the sanctuary with the intention of mistreating animals
Well of course, I don't think anyone thinks she was intentionally mistreating them or being malicious. It was just kind of obnoxious seeing her treating them like toys, clearly she loves animals, just a sorta clueless as far as respecting them goes

I have a soft spot in my heart for cows. My great grandfather slaughtered his 20 cows about a year after taking over the family farm, as he saw them as suffering prisoners. It was a 25 year old barn, modern and spacious. The manager at the diary and him ended up in a life long feud over it, as I assume they worried other farmers would follow his lead. My great grandfather had framed chalkboard ca A3 size for every cows name and info, including personality traits. There has never been any animals except cats, dogs, and tops 20 freeroaming chickens (for eggs) since the 40's at that farm. The framed chalkboards was never wiped off, and is neatly stacked in dry storage.
Sorry, there was a few pigs up to about 1960 as well. I'm sure they had names, but as they would become food in a short time or exchanged amongst farmers to avoid inbreeding, no one wanted(?) to tie close bonds with them.
Gotta be honest, not the biggest fan of how Eret interacted with the animals...like it's obvious they love animals but they ignored so many boundaries :/

There are no known established wild breeding populations of Ball Pythons in Florida, and experts think they are unlikely to be able to establish here because of our weather.

Not my favorite collab sometimes I find that the creators are really just interested in the animals and not the information that she is sharing. They are not there just to hang out with cute animals. The treating them more like pets than wild animals especially with the monkeys and foxes. Sticking their finger in the monkeys face because they are no afraid of getting bit like why do that when you are aware that is the response that you will get with any animal you stick a finger in their face when they are used to being handed food it tries to bite

I'm struggling to finish it, they grabbed at Ace's face with both hands and gave him a "boop" on the nose, you could see Ace's ears go back. Did the same thing w like 4 other animals so far. I'm frustrated lol.
She definitely does not interact with the animals in a way that’s 100% respectful of their boundaries BUT you can tell she cares a lot about them and is not doing it maliciously 😊 + if there was a problem let Maya handle it! If you are super sensitive though you should def sit this one out

Is the plastic container his full enclosure? i don't really know much about arachnids and was wondering if they needed more space or if they are perfectly fine in a small space like that. Also, if it is just a transport container, how do they transfer them? Are they easier to handle than i'm thinking? So many questions.
I believe that is his full enclosure, if you think about where scorpions live out in the wild it’s mostly under rocks for safety. that enclosure probably makes him feel safe and not exposed!
