I will never understand people that act like Joe was father of the century. Not only did he torment them physically, he did so mentally. He cheated on their mother in front of them. Had a whole seperate family. There is no money in the world that can repair the emotional damage he did to his children. I don't care how many auditions he drove them to. This man was not a good parent. He showed it again after his own son died, just 3 days later he was there all arrogant promoting his new record label.
I'm sick of it too. And the same ppl that call MJ a self hater and weird are the same ones that will sing Joe's praises and make memes and jokes of his "discipline". Hypocrisy is a disease.
He gave the world so much and asked for nothing. He didn't deserve the abuse he took from his father or his detractors. Forget the King of Pop, this man is the King of Music! May you continue to rest in peace and power sir.
Totally agreed!! He didn’t deserve any of the wacko jacko crap either. World was not kind to MJ..When I was young when thriller came out he was the coolest man on the planet
Pop is short for popular culture. It’s our modern era, beginning 1900 and continuing now. He’s the King of our entire modern culture. It’s called popular culture bc it was the beginning of tv, media, technology, music and anything else getting popular bc it was able to travel easier from person to person thanks to the developments of technology. Before pop culture, only the rich could experience music.
He asked for nothing, only that people buy his records & attend his concerts lol. Dear MJ Fanatics, Michael is NOT the only person born of a woman since Adam & Eve who "had a horrific childhood" if that PR spin is to be believed. Everyone loved Michael & only became "detractors" when rumors & allegations about him pr3ying on & m0l3sting boys began to surface & the DRASTIC transformation of his face to looking like a white drag queen. If ANY other celebrity did the same, said celebrity will have "detractors" too
I was hoping that more of them would speak out TRUTHFULLY after he died instead of getting right up to that point and then pulling back and now it seems they dug in even deeper with the "it was just what they did back then to discipline" ignoring the trauma it clearly gave some of them.. I'm pretty sure I've seen some of them even now claiming that he was the best dad.. *eye roll*.. However i can acknowledge and appreciate that there would be no Jackson family without Joe.. For that i thank him.. Michael helped bring mee out of a very dark place..
Here’s the thing tho, I don’t know any African, Caribbean or African American family that didn’t Dads who beat their kids especially coming from the Joseph Jackson generation (40’s - 70’s) I guarantee Joseph & Katherine were disciplined the same exact way. Every African, AA & Caribbean person I’ve ever met all got spanked or whipped lol Now was Joseph prolly excessive ?? Prollly was MJ just a sensitive kid?? Prolly 2 things can be true at the same time lol Now if u look at his brothers, they weren’t as sensitive as MJ & MJ even admits that Marlon got it way worse than he did…..ppl just deal w/ getting whipped differently So no I’m not shocked that the other Bros don’t speak out about being spanked. They have different dispositions than MJ had….& they all rebelled in their own way. 3 of the bros all got married super young so they could be their own man & be out from under Joseph….same w/ Janet when she got married As far as the Jehovah Witness stuff, I mean if that’s their religion & that’s their religion Did Joseph do a lot of wrong? Yes. But I kno a lot of now young adults that would’ve preferred having a Dad ride their ass everyday than have no Dad at all (& that’s a fact) I’ve been to Gary, Indiana & it is one of the most drug filled repressed cities in USA that nobody talks about……Joseph did not want his kids doing any of that shit All his kids (even by Hollywood’s standards) came out pretty normal. His kids aren’t criminals or drug addicts….MJ would’ve never been on drugs if he didn’t have the Pepsi burn accident Even in the video tho MJ says all the bad shit Joseph did, in the video MJ says & I quote “but he was a genius….he was a genius” Not everyone is All Bad & All Good. Life isn’t black & white. It tends to be shades of grey If Joseph didn’t give a shit about his kids, he wouldn’t have been there at all lol I kno a lot of ppl who have Dads who abandoned them or they never even met their Dad Joseph is just an example of that rough parenting generation. No black person (of any age) can hear these Joseph stories & admit they didn’t experience it too OR have a relative who did
No child deserves to be abused, no matter how much “discipline” a parent thinks they’re doing by beating their kids. You don’t teach your kids anything but fear. I hope everyone who has been through parental abuse gets the healing, love, care, & support you deserve. Therapy helps. Don’t repeat the steps of your parents with your kids. There are other ways to instill discipline into your kids. - Maãlík
I saw so many similarities in my own childhood and I am the same age as Michael Jackson was. Beatings, being chased around the house, hiding being thrown up against the walls, being face slammed into a kitchen table, living in fear of a man that I was supposed to trust as a father.. I understand his pain, it ruins you as a child and as a functioning adult. No matter how much you can fool the world, your child inside yourself is permanently broken and in those quiet alone moments, you try to work it out and make it better but you can never change the damage these monsters do to you.. Love you Michael and I understand what you also went through and I am truly sorry you had to endure that suffering and hide what he was doing and did to you until you were an adult and could safely even talk about it.. RIP Dear Michael, you were a gift on this planet and we all remember you and will always love you even if your father didn't or couldn't..
@@debbieo2721 Thank you for sharing your story & educating the people. Especially the people who continue to give praise to Michael's monster. He's safe now, since June 25, 2009 ✨ MJ FOREVER ♾️ ❤️
The conclusion that I’ve come to is that children just don’t belong in show business. We’ve witnessed decades of abuse and child labor in in order for children to be successful. The industry is evil. Also Michael regurgitating at the sight of his father is something spiritual. It’s possible Joseph might’ve been a dark entity. Some ppl who are deeply spiritual, esp like Mike can feel that powerful dark energy. @10:07 my heart sank. Imagine what he felt when the police department made him strip. Those scars just flooding back. And how symbolic because again, Joe’s dark energy manifested into reality. This truly proves how parents curse their children with their low frequency energy and fury. It manifests! This is why it’s so important to LOVE your children.
@ i agree. That junk messed him up bad. When i watched this earlier i thought to myself if my dad was like that. Im positive it would’ve affected me. I probably would of gotten into a lot of fights in school and stuff idk
For sure Michael was a loving soul but I don't think he completely forgave him and said it for the public and for sure he never forgot it or healed from it, it's clear they were never close, he even left him out of his will and that says a lot in my opinion, I don't judge him I would do the same thing, the man always used him for his money, he gave himself credit for "creating the biggest group in the world" but I doubt he ever apologized or took credit for the hurt he caused, he was always super arrogant talking like "I made no mistakes" even his wife Katherine had to cut him off and say "don't say that", his cruel brutal treatment affected him for the rest of his life, even when he died they found notes on the walls and mirrors and one of them said "discipline with love, not violence" and another one said "love, no violence ever", in the last recording where the doctor recorded him before he died he said he wanted to build a hospital for children and take care of them so they wouldn't be depressed and he said he felt their pain because he had no childhood... I wonder if or how much did Joe actually change cause 3 days after Michael died he was promoting his new label cold as hell with no respect talking like "we lost the biggest superstar" and not his SON. Seems like that's all he cared about.
I’ve heard people try to sanitize MJ’s childhood and abuse by saying that it made him the dynamic artist he was. Hell, my mother one time said over the phone when she was 56 years old, that while Michael Jackson didn’t have a childhood, neither did the slaves. Given how Michael’s life post 1984 panned out, I don’t think the abuse and lost childhood were even worth Thriller.
I hate when people downplay it and say it's just "discipline" and make excuses for this man even saying that he was "a great father" like what??? Have they heard Michael's private phone conversation saying that he choked him and almost broke his arm??? Is that not abuse?? Calling him ugly, big nose, too black was simply unnecessary.
@@marcusscarterr33 There is a "lady" here with a channel that justifies it and downplays it because she says "most of us black people had whoopings in our childhood". She even gets extremely harsh on anyone who writes any criticism or negative word on such abuse in her comments. It is disgusting. This is justifiying child abuse. I ADORE Michael and his music and actually couldn't imagine living without it but I would forgo it immediately if he hadn't suffer this way.
If anything Michael is a cautionary tale of the damage abuse really does to a child... MJ could have been just as successful just by his father being strict and pushing him to succeed but could have saved his life in the long wrong, by simply removing the trauma and abuse he endured from his childhood he could have just been a helicopter parent and still had a successful family, instead of being a monster who destroyed his sons self worth and confidence and ruining what should have been a really wonderful life ... Look at Taylor Swift she has become even more successful than him by today's standards and she has two amazing, loving, supportive parents and they didn't destroy their child and her innocence to get her there...
@@ashleighrose8115exactly 💯 joe was a tormenting, sadistic "father" stripping them naked & oiling his kids down before whipping the mess outta them??!!!! The fear MJ felt 😔 Thank you for being emotionally intelligent, and sharing your feelings & thoughts abt lil MJ (and teenage MJ) getting the "bejeezus" scared outta him 😢 joe deserves NO PRAISE. MJ FOREVER ♾️✨❤️
Thank you to all the compassionate ones on this. We know in our HEARTS it isn't RIGHT for a parent to treat their own children this way 😔 MJ FOREVER & A DAY!! 🕊️✨
Agree 👍🏽 Although I imagine that Many would say Michael DID have Better, but it’s obvious that what he Needed MOST was GENUINE Sincere Love 🥰 and the SUPPORT of his Dad. However, then Sometimes I think that perhaps Joe Jackson must’ve really and truly BELIEVED that he Was doing the Best for his children by BEATING them into Stardom, as HORRIFIC as that is to contemplate.
So is nobody gonna talk about how traumatizing and attacking Martin Bashir’s questions were. You can clearly see it especially when he asked if Michael’s father only used a belt when he covered his face. It’s a miracle he didn’t cry. Bashir is a horrible, DISGUSTING person.
Oh please, that's yet another excuse from Jackson's sycophants to explain him wanting to look like a white woman. Nothing can ever be Michael's fault. In y'all's eyes it's ALWAYS someone else to blame & never Michael...SMH
@@HannibalLector-e8y 😂 Before Michael underwent aLL those surgeries, Yes the HeLL He DID closely Resemble his Dad in facial features AND Coloring. Anyone with EYES can go back and look at early photos of Michael and SEE the resemblance. However, of aLL the brothers, it’s my opinion that Jackie looked the MOST like Joseph.
Michael needed therapy for his father’s abuse to him. Unfortunately seeking as much fame as he possibly could, surgery to not look like his dad and in the end drugs was how he coped with it. His life in one way was soo amazing but on the other hand very sad what he was dealing with inside himself.
I heard a private tape where he said he wanted to be so successful and great because he just wanted to be loved and hoped that that would change his father and that broke my heart so bad 💔💔
Sure ✔️ I just watched the video and honestly I was crying all the way through it just so devastatingly heartbreaking, tragic & sad 💔. I know your right when you say MJ should have had therapy but the sad fact is that back in the 1970’s & early 1980’s psychotherapy and psychiatry was seen very much as a taboo in US society. Most people viewed anyone in treatment as being mentally ill or crazy. Which is really sad & truly unfortunate. Also MJ was a devout Jehovah’s Witness & in his very strict faith I don’t think it was encouraged to seek secular psychological treatment like psychotherapy. The elders in the Jehovah’s Witness faith would try to help but sadly they weren’t psychologist. Also after the global mega super success of the Thriller album sadly MJ became untouchable. He was a very damaged man with too much money & power & if he refused the right psychological treatment then no one could help him. So fate tragically had its way with him. It’s still very difficult & painful to re-experience all of MJ’s childhood abuse, hurt & trauma. It’s really upsetting. In many way sadly MJ’s Hell was here on Earth. Now he is at peace resting eternally in the arm of God. I will love him forever because he was a rare, precious, beautiful, kind, sensitive, fragile, damaged, caring soul. RIP
I can so relate on not wanting to look like your shitty parents, though I think it was more the complex Joe Jackson and his brothers gave him about his nose.
@@ST-nz4bf I mean he left the JW religion in 1987, but I can understand that even in the 90s or the 2000s the press was already calling him crazy even when he went to rehab in 93 imagine if they caught him in therapy, and I think one of the reasons why he wasn't able to was that he couldn't trust people, take the Rabbi for example, he was supposed to be his spiritual adviser and these were supposed to be private and he went and recorded Michael, which I guess would be okay for therapy purposes but then he went and released them after he died and even released a whole book on them, I don't think he wanted those out and the guy was clearly not his friend and wanted to get money and be relevant, Michael had trust issues and for good reason. After that mockumentary got out he said he believed Michael was guilty even after hearing Michael bearing his soul to him about his pure love for children and his genuine desire to help them.
This was the one and only time I think…. that Michael really went deep with his childhood trauma. Like I’ve never seen MJ really tell it like it was for him. He really trusted Martin sadly. But he revealed more than I’ve seen him ever mention on other interviews about how bad he and his brothers got it. This one really brought back the memories for Michael. It makes you wanna cry and just give him a hug.
The one good thing that came of it is that Michael realised he had to treat his own children right. They could call him daddy. He never layed a finger on them cos he never wanted them to feel that hate for him, only love for him.
You should check out his private recordings or private phone conversations where he didn't even know he was being recorded, he says things that he never even said in interviews, like the fact that his father choked him and almost broke his arm
Michael saying, "Well look what came out of it" is pretty ironic. Yeah, Joseph helped with their success but he also caused childhood trauma, physical and verbal abuse that left Michael emotionally scarred to the point of not wanting to grow up, and changing his face to the point where he didnt't want to look like his dad anymore. It's really tragic the more I learn about him.
I think he was refearring to the fact that because of it he had a veey deep love for children and wanted to protect them and ensure they don't go through what he went through
💯because MJ was an Earth Angel 😇 that’s why he was able to give so much love & comfort to this hurting world 🌍!! RIP King Of Pop & more importantly the King Of Our Hearts ♥️
i wish Michael jackson was here, but he went through so much in childhood and beyond. He would be proud of his children if he was here. All fans miss him every day.
Micheal was such a beautiful, gentle, humble being. The horrific abuse he endured at the hands of that evil being didn’t make Michael that way- he was born that way. He was born with an untouchable God given talent as well . He never needed Joe and Joe knew that!!! The love people around the world have for Michael is because of Michael- only!
You should have some included some of his private phone conversations when he talked about him and his childhood without knowing he was being recorded.
@@agnieszkalek yeah he put the private tapes these are private as well I don't even think Michael wanted these out but since he put these why not put the others as well? Especially since he put parts of them on some of his other videos
The fact that people turned their backs on MJ is sickening. Blaming him for the unthinkable with kids. This Man was a pure soul and legend we will never see this again. Shame on all the haters.
Not many People actually KNEW exactly WHO Michael was. We only knew what we Heard from the news media and Watched on TV 📺 Do I personally suspect that Michael was guilty of a Lot of things he was accused of regarding young children? Of course!! I live in AMURICA 🇺🇸 and there’s No Denying that these sorts of things DO happen.
Doesn’t matter how much I hear of this…This will forever affect my heart. But of course…I try to not let it affect me mentally. Michael…You deserve The Hug. Of All Hugs.
“Once i was on stage i was happy”…this is all trauma bonding to the stage in a way….cause off the stage he was back with his abusive dad…hell i think everytime he was performing on the stage he was having some kind of trigger happy manic episode to the point of over exercising and self harm on the damn stage. This is really sad. Poor thing.
I'm pretty sure I heard a recording of him from the 80s and he talked about how he had acne and felt so ugly and shy but once he got on stage all of that would disappear, and it'd come back again when off, and even when he changed his diet and the acne was off, the scars were still there, he felt free from his problems, but I kinda agree with you as well, it's so so sad 😢
During those 70s clips where he said he didn't really miss out on having a childhood, on a private phone conversation he didn't know he was being recorded he said they told him what to wear what not to wear what to say and what not to say and he had no control over anything but his eating (maybe that's why he developed anorexia and the habit of not eating when he was very upset or hurt, to get some control 😥), that they had to portray this image of the "perfect family" and smile like nothing was happening and "papa joe was wonderful" and this and that when that wasn't true 💔
I'm not surprised, plus maintaining a dancer's body. His dancing was as important as his singing, so it was important for him to maintain a skinny physique. And some people react to stress by binge-eating, some people don't eat, some (like me) do both.
So glad I found this channel during my Michael spell 😭😭😭😭 Really enjoying seeing post 1993 Mike free of the tabloid rhetoric and lies I as a 1998 baby knew. Fun fact I didn’t truly know his greatness until 09. The second he passed, Wanna be starting somethin etc was on every radio station… Love the man.
Not only he threatened him he did abuse him for every little mistep and it was never good enough, in a private tape he said he wanted to be so successful and great because he just wanted to be loved cause he never felt loved and wanted his father's approval and he hoped that it would change him 💔💔😭
Ok wow this week I was intending to literally comment that you guys to do a deep dive into his relationship with his dad I love this channel you guys are awesome
I saw this video and I was moved to tears, I was filled with boundless sadness, it is tragic to have an unhappy childhood, to feel abandoned, not to feel happy, not to feel loved by your parents, to feel alone, to be an ordeal, I know what it means, it's painful and tragic. I love you very much MJ🤗💋❣️😘I miss you so much, I need you🤗🤗🤗❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
I never liked that UK guy. He always made it seem more like an interrogation than an interview. It also didn't help that this was the time the media was tearing Michael apart. It was painful for us fans. Sure, we all wish that he didn't leave us like he did, but given all the torment this man endured with the triumph, I feel he earned peace beyond this world.
Must have taken a lot of courage to finally speak up when he did. But I think the most courageous thing he said is that he forgave his father for everything he did. That is not easy to do at all especially when the person causes you such pain.
Michael was tortured, humiliated, mistreated by the one who should have done the opposite. Fortunately, he did not harbor feelings of hatred, repulsion, or contempt for his father.
This was triggering for me. I was physically and emotionally too. I am 62 yeas old now, my father has changed and apologised, but hearing him talk about it, the fear, running to hide because he was pulling in the driveway. Just about everything he said i identified with. Listening to Michael talk about it gave me anxiety and tightness in my chest. I am glad my father finally realized what he did was wrong and sincerely apologized but the scars stay.
He was a really smart person actually but he just acted child like sometimes because of having no childhood and he made some mistakes because of that but he is very smart you just cant tell that sometimes when he is acting child like
I do feel bad he never truly had the normal childhood and did even know what a genuine friend was. Seem like he was always treated like a novelty act/machine than a real person. He did have a life most can only dream of but at a cost that I feel a lot of us take for granted.
One of the worst monsters to have existed, and I absolutely believe that idea that Rebbie is her mother, it adds up like you say as a date and he would do this to her. La Toya said so herself.
MJ has the most double edged sword life. While his dad’s strict parenting mold him into the iconic king of pop we all know and love, he also kinda ripped him of his childhood which made him had problems socializing with other people and worrying about his appearance.
This poor man endured more pain than any person should ever have to experience. He was so beautiful yet people bullied him until the day he died. He was so unique and misunderstood. And the crazy thing is nowadays the world is so much more accepting of people just like him. He was ahead of his time. I wish he would have had a normal peaceful life instead of the hell he went through.
There is so much pain in his eyes... Ok I don´t know the truth, but I bet Michael couldn´t have done anything bad to any child on this planet. May his soul rest in peace. Thank you Michael it was an honor to have you here on earth.
Not only did Michael go through his father's violence, he went through violence and became non-traditional, like the Hollywood ritual... they didn't just let him into this famous environment, he was dedicated...😢
Joe Sold Michael as a little Boy into Hollywood .!!when i readed Bryce Taylor book who knew Michael as child i was shoked the man wrote a book where He exposed the el*te
We all know his dad didn't care about no one but himself. But nobody says anything about the sorry mother who sit there and let that man abuse them kids like that. There ain't no reason why she couldn't have left.
in those days things were different it wasn't so easy for women to leave their marriage like today she was financially dependent on him/them and was limited on what she could actually do.
Curiously, Michael claimed his family wasn’t wealthy but they also weren’t poor, when he and his siblings were young children. However, I recollect a biography that displayed the family’s Gary (IN) home, in which it was revealed the house actually only contained two bedrooms. Some of the children were crammed into one of those bedrooms, and the others slept in the living room. Nine kids is a lot of babies, to provide for. The family was indeed poor.
IMO Joe murdered Michael, not physically with hands but his pain caused addictions that caused his passing. Cruel father ... He's with the heavenly Father now in his bossom being loved so greatly. RIIP Michael, you deserve it❤
Poor MJ, never stood a chance. Joe made him into the star he is, yet its ironic that MJs fans dislike Joe. He, and everyone else, should've just let Mike be Mike.
I can relate to his eccentricities, complex feelings toward his father, loneliness/jadedness, & his abuse. Maybe that’s why I always liked his music growing up & I love it even more now bc he’s literally a mirror of myself, cause I have ASD. I sung a lot of his music on my channel btw
❤❤❤I never forget, when i see thiz video! It was horific, absurdity from his father.!!!! 🙏🙏😥😥 So a beautiful human being, philanthropist, genially talent, gold heart and beautiful soul!!!!❤❤❤ Michaels performances is magical!!!😢😢😢😢 MILIONS PEOPLE LOVED GIM FOREVER.❤❤❤❤❤❤I RESPECT YOU AND LOVE YOU VERY MUCH FOREVER!!!!❤❤❤😭🙏🙏🙏🖐
Michael was treated so badly by his father Michael was a very kind hearted Person with so much love in his heart and he was loved by so many People and fans. he was kindest man ever being treated like shit by his father like that you would think he would be different but no he was a good human being with a beautiful smile and so kind hearted and so funny and he loved his fans so much and he loved too dance and sing at the same time he was a great dancer we will never forget him he was so amazing and we miss him so much a legend and our King of Pop forever in our beating hearts always ❤❤👑🙏🏻💕🎤
After seeing this video I realize how traumatized Michael must have been. And Michael was seeking help but hé ran into people who took advantage of him, like so called rabby Shmuley who taped their phoneconversations and sold them to the press for big money. Michael ran into some bad people in his life.
It hurts to see the pain in him in these interviews. You can literally see him hiding pain in interviews too. He always gave his all and loved children because he was robbed of his childhood. He was a very misunderstood and judged man. What a brilliant, incredible, beautiful artist and human being Michael was. I hope he's in heaven and singing among the angels because he was simply too good for this world. One thing MJ is wrong about in this, what Joe Jackson did WAS abuse, just because Michael chose not to continue the cycle doesn't mean that it wasn't. Michael and his brother's survived a lot of physical and mental trauma.
@AlineOliveira-vm5kw I'll have to go back an re-listen. That makes sense. He definitely chose to nurture and not continue that cycle. I cannot emagine what he and his siblings endured, and them always having to smile and present to the public as if nothing was wrong. Horrific.
My mum didn’t really love me either. She used to call me not normal, or forest gump, etc. she had a cruel heart. Ps. Stop editing in clicking noises when you display text on the screen.
We never ever gave him a chance to talk to us, I mean really let him talk to our hearts. We never really listened. He was there, telling us. What did we do? We believed the media. And look what happened. We lost him and part of it it's our fault.
With all we know about the industry today the ruthlessness, the cut throat and manipulation emotionally or physically can you imagine your entire family depends on you as a ten year old kid? and it stays like that in your fifties?
What people don't understand is that little innocent child.. beautiful innocent boy. Was back then.. but grew up into a monaster.. that little boy is no longer in our world.. he changed very quickly.. into a devil worshiper..so sad heart breaking to say the least...
Michael's father was so cruel Michael's story was so tragic the children were just used for money 💰 gains especially Michael, Janet, and Latoya. R.I.P Michael you were an amazing performer.
And at the end of his life, he tried to worn us, this is it!!! He said I mean it, this is it!!! I don't understand why nobody in his family speak up 👿 Diddy finished his life, it was all planned! He wanted to steal all his music 🎶 and Michael also told us clearly that Motorola was the devil 😈😈😈😈

Here’s the thing tho, I don’t know any African, Caribbean or African American family that didn’t Dads who beat their kids especially coming from the Joseph Jackson generation (40’s - 70’s)

Even in the video tho MJ says all the bad shit Joseph did, in the video MJ says & I quote “but he was a genius….he was a genius”
Not everyone is All Bad & All Good. Life isn’t black & white. It tends to be shades of grey
If Joseph didn’t give a shit about his kids, he wouldn’t have been there at all lol I kno a lot of ppl who have Dads who abandoned them or they never even met their Dad
Joseph is just an example of that rough parenting generation. No black person (of any age) can hear these Joseph stories & admit they didn’t experience it too OR have a relative who did
Joseph gave Michael hell. I'm just glad Michael became a better father.
To white kids??? And also being PDF-FILE

Joe overcrossed the line, especially when he beat them for crazy reason like when they messed up during practice

The abuse this poor man went through. He didn't deserve it. Too innocent for this world 😢.
💯 too innocent, too precious, too good for this cruel unloving world!
I just want to hug this guy when he talks about these things. Michael, you deserved real, genuine love!
Man i always feel sorry for MJ and his brothers and sisters 😔
I always give Michael huge credit for forgiving his dad. But I don’t think he ever fully recovered from it in his mind. Soo sad
@@marcusscarterr33WELL SAID!! 💯
@@caseyfalconer7347 💯 the damage was just to extensive 💔😔

@@pupstxrxl9714 I refer to him as "batsh*t

This is why he altered his appearance so drastically. He didn't want to look or be anything like his father...
He said it with his own mouth as well 💔
Oh please, that's yet another excuse from Jackson's sycophants to explain him wanting to look like a white woman. Nothing can ever be Michael's fault. In y'all's eyes it's ALWAYS someone else to blame & never Michael...SMH
@@BodyhealthsoulBro, there’s documentation of this type of stuff that proves what he should and should not be blamed for.
He didn't look like Joseph.
@@JamesPerry-wt7no💯 sadly there are no real solutions for poor MJ’s problems 💔😔
This was the one and only time I think…. that Michael really went deep with his childhood trauma. Like I’ve never seen MJ really tell it like it was for him. He really trusted Martin sadly. But he revealed more than I’ve seen him ever mention on other interviews about how bad he and his brothers got it. This one really brought back the memories for Michael. It makes you wanna cry and just give him a hug.
The one good thing that came of it is that Michael realised he had to treat his own children right. They could call him daddy. He never layed a finger on them cos he never wanted them to feel that hate for him, only love for him.
@ definitely. 🙏
You should check out his private recordings or private phone conversations where he didn't even know he was being recorded, he says things that he never even said in interviews, like the fact that his father choked him and almost broke his arm
I don't know how that man can live with himself, but then again he is a journalist. 🔨🔨🔨

@@agnieszkalek yeah he put the private tapes these are private as well I don't even think Michael wanted these out but since he put these why not put the others as well? Especially since he put parts of them on some of his other videos

We only knew what we Heard from the news media and Watched on TV 📺 Do I personally suspect that Michael was guilty of a Lot of things he was accused of regarding young children? Of course!! I live in AMURICA 🇺🇸 and there’s No Denying that these sorts of things DO happen.
But them scums think Jay Z and Diddy are innocent!!! Punks!
Doesn’t matter how much I hear of this…This will forever affect my heart. But of course…I try to not let it affect me mentally.

@@luana45393 Right it's so messed up.
"He would tell me im ugly......sorry joseph 🤷"
Poor Michael was still scared of his reaction 😢
He probably had some type of body dysmorphia. People with body dysmorphia tend to believe that they're uglier than what they actually are.
Yeah its really messed up.
So glad I found this channel during my Michael spell 😭😭😭😭
Really enjoying seeing post 1993 Mike free of the tabloid rhetoric and lies I as a 1998 baby knew. Fun fact I didn’t truly know his greatness until 09. The second he passed, Wanna be starting somethin etc was on every radio station… Love the man.
Crazy to think that Michael’s discipline and strong work ethic came from his father threatening to physically abuse him 😬
Not only he threatened him he did abuse him for every little mistep and it was never good enough, in a private tape he said he wanted to be so successful and great because he just wanted to be loved cause he never felt loved and wanted his father's approval and he hoped that it would change him 💔💔😭

His childhood was stolen from him
So much goodness and love he gave to the world and how much pain he endured 😢 I hope his soul is at peace now
Must have taken a lot of courage to finally speak up when he did. But I think the most courageous thing he said is that he forgave his father for everything he did. That is not easy to do at all especially when the person causes you such pain.
This is a unique form Of child abuse that should be studied.
I love you Michael Jackson miss him
Michael was tortured, humiliated, mistreated by the one who should have done the opposite. Fortunately, he did not harbor feelings of hatred, repulsion, or contempt for his father.
I mean he did say he hated him at times, there was definitely ressentment there as an adult, and who can blame him?
This was triggering for me. I was physically and emotionally too. I am 62 yeas old now, my father has changed and apologised, but hearing him talk about it, the fear, running to hide because he was pulling in the driveway. Just about everything he said i identified with. Listening to Michael talk about it gave me anxiety and tightness in my chest. I am glad my father finally realized what he did was wrong and sincerely apologized but the scars stay.
He looks so uncomfortable and afraid in the picture at 9:10
Joe look like a Devil behind his son back
He was a really smart person actually but he just acted child like sometimes because of having no childhood and he made some mistakes because of that but he is very smart you just cant tell that sometimes when he is acting child like

I do feel bad he never truly had the normal childhood and did even know what a genuine friend was. Seem like he was always treated like a novelty act/machine than a real person. He did have a life most can only dream of but at a cost that I feel a lot of us take for granted.
I thank God he healed me of all these traumas that only the heavenly father could
Micheal could never get over the trauma. It did not help that reporters would continually ask him about his childhood. They dont care !!
Joe was an absolute monster. There is a rumor that Janet is Rebbie’s daughter by him. The dates add up.
😱
I’ve never heard that awful rumour before.
One of the worst monsters to have existed, and I absolutely believe that idea that Rebbie is her mother, it adds up like you say as a date and he would do this to her. La Toya said so herself.
😮
I wouldn't doubt that.
his spirit is still alive
How can one hide such a pain in that beautiful smiles? Oh MJ you were such an amazing person😢
MJ has the most double edged sword life. While his dad’s strict parenting mold him into the iconic king of pop we all know and love, he also kinda ripped him of his childhood which made him had problems socializing with other people and worrying about his appearance.
Oprah is NOT one of my favorite people 👎🏽
Who cares? No one even knows you exist.
Let's not 4get Michael Jackson's speech at Oxford where he says he forgave his Dad. Forgiveness is what represents MJ.

I really can't distinguish Joe Jackson from a slave master.
true
RIIP Michael, you deserve it❤
Psychologically I agree.
So sorry you had to go through that Michael. Rest in eternal peace😢😢😢

I think he actually said "when people say the abused abuse that's not true" and he is right!
@AlineOliveira-vm5kw I'll have to go back an re-listen. That makes sense. He definitely chose to nurture and not continue that cycle. I cannot emagine what he and his siblings endured, and them always having to smile and present to the public as if nothing was wrong.
