This video was MOST helpful. A little off on my Ford Explorer Sport Trac but close enough that it enabled me to get the job done easily. The funny thing is that I had to replace the alternator to clear 3 check engine codes on my truck. It was showing a failed camshaft sensor and a couple others that I don't remember now. In reality, the alternator, while it was charging, was throwing out bad voltage. Replaced the alternator and all the codes cleared immediately. I found this out from an OLD Ford Service Advisory from 2012. Back then when the truck was under warranty, if this had happened they would have replaced it under warranty. The things you learn driving a 9 year old truck.

Another Awesome Video ya'll - THANKS! I've watched several 1A-Auto videos and they're all very well done and exceptionally informative. The techs are always very articulate and clear in their instructions and the camera work is steady with great lighting. That's one of the reasons I order my larger parts from them - In many cases I already have to wait for my local shop to order and get it - so if the timing is the same, why not order from these guys? So I do!

i'm doing this on the wife's 06 for the same reason...check engine light with camshaft codes. other than that thing charges fine
