There could be subtle differences I guess, but from a broader perspective I guess these are just synonyms for someone who passionately love cinema and also knows a lot about them.

I don't call myself a movie buff or cinephile just to make myself look cool. But I know enough about every step of film making, not just theoretically but practically , so yeah thats it about me 😊
Let me tell u honestly what I noticed in movies that I've recently watched acting, dialogue delivery, beauty of static and tracking shots, camera angle, screenplay, silence, cinematography, etc.
Eg. What love is, causeway, fleabag, rocket singh, eyes wide shut

I notice these things myself, but i still don't consider myself a cinephile cuz i think it's not enough but maybe in your case you are a Cinephile......and please watch Shawshank redemption and The Godfather.
Same man I also notice the cinematography of the film supplemented with music and performances of character, I love a movie when the director represents a simple concept on a large scale. The recent example is DUNE
Not that being a movie lover is an inferior thing... It's just a matter of choice.

RUclipsr by definition is a person who uploads videos on RUclips.
Same goes with a cinephile. A cinephile, by definition, is a person who loves cinema.
A person can still be a cinephile even if he has watched a total of 10 movies in his life.
It is written nowhere that only the people who have deep knowledge about cinema should only be considered as cinephiles.
You are confusing the term 'cinephile' with 'professional film critic'. A person cannot call himself a professional critic if he doesn't have critical information about the process of filmmaking.
Not anyone can be a critic, but anyone can definitely be a cinephile.
