Big improvement over my stock G43X trigger. Shortens the reach/reset and allows more purchase of the gun in my hand. I recommend to anybody who hates the dipped shoe oem trigger.

I got one with a polished trigger bar for my Glock 42 for less than 60 dollars. Pre travel seems about the same(maybe just a hair shorter) the break is about the same. The reset is a little shorter and the flat face shoe is nice. I shot over 3000 rounds with the OEM trigger and about 300 with the Vickers and it is an improvement. Nice to find a trigger that doesn't cost a fortune and helps.

The dingus (safety internal to the trigger) edges were quite sharp and uncomfortable. I would have to probably do some light filing work to make those transitions less, well, sharp. And finally, the back part of the dingus drags on the frame making this, out of the box a roughly four stage trigger, with the first stage (just getting past the “dingus” stage) feeling as though something is genuinely not mechanically right.
I believe the primary issue with this trigger shoe is that the dingus is also so low within the trigger face that the sharpness is more pronounced, this also makes it harder to disengage the dingus to being with, which leads to it not disengaging as a normal one would, which also feels like an increase in pull weight. Each one of these issues builds upon the previous.
A stock Glock trigger shoe has none of these issues. While I feel that these flat faced triggers are preferable overall, this one just does not yet make the grade. All of the points discussed led to a perceived INCREASE in trigger pull weight over OEM, despite the fact that I had also added a Ghost 3.5 connector in too. This should have been the best feeling Glock trigger short of the massively expensive aftermarket (and mostly not drop safe) alternatives, but was certainly not.

@3:40 yep, major differences sometimes from bar to bar. Housings too. To any newbies you wont start having to worry about any of this if you dont start tearing your glock apart. I advocate for the tearing apart of the glock, but you should always have an all oem glock or at very least an oem group n oem slide to revert back to when needed. Unless your a real glock armorer or very experienced i mean. Those little simple parts can be quite finicky when swapped. Its fun to try "to beat the game" tho, nothing feels better than a truly successful glock tuning.

I didn't know dingus was a thing. Makes me like it more how many times can you say dingus in a video?

I got one in a little while ago from an ebay seller. I was hoping it would be almost as good as the Apex trigger for about half the cost. It isn't. I don't know what they did with the pin hole placement, but my frame doesn't like the Vickers trigger. The slide hangs up at the last 1/4 to 1/2 inch from closed. When firing, it goes back into battery, but that is troubling.
The safety lever in the trigger sticks out a little, and is irritating.
There isn't anything in particular that I feel this trigger is really good for.

Buddy and I purchased the trigger shoes only. I installed his but the curl at the bottom feels like a toothpick point sticking in your trigger finger. He sanded his down and now the dingus won’t clear the slot so his trigger is toast. I am now on the fence as to whether I will install mine. Can’t figure why the put the pointy tip on that thing. I’m thinking you get what you pay for.

I just did a range visit with mine and I’ve since removed it I went back to the OEM trigger.

They have made some changes to the safety. If you have the trigger that is all black that’s the old one. If the safety is grey and the trigger is black that’s the new one. I just installed mine and like it.

@@TOWIIBRAVO I just picked one up today , if they would have made the trigger safety wider they would have had a win (also if they would have added an allen screw instead of a pin even better).

Reset comes from the connector, not related to whatever trigger shoe you choose. Good video otherwise. I love my Vickers trigger.

Geometry of trigger, especially point of rotation, may affect reset. Apex trigger shoe definitely did for me.

I really like flat faced triggers but this one is not for me. I feel like it’s to safe and to sharp of a trigger and would cause me issues in a high stress situation. I will be replacing it with another shoe.
