@@koppsr Definitely no German woman! My mother is from Germany and she would have preferred finding a way to bankrupt his company, sue him for every penny he had, put him in prison, leave him without the use of his legs (or ability to father children)..without the slightest twinge of guilt.

I agree 110%. This depiction of Chinese women is insulting and humiliating. These dramas make them look weak, helpless, and stupid because they go back to these disgusting abusive men. Why are the writers and producers allowed to make this crap???
Don't forget the FL is plenty dense...she literally leaves her front door open after almost getting murdered days before...acts like she's 2 steps ahead of everyone...BUT ALMOST GETS MURDERED...more than once...don't get me started on the writers insisting on having FLs wander aimlessly in dark parking garages...
