Like this. I think Lenny Abrahamson employed a photographer in the background throughout the filming. He snapped throughout and they referenced every thing with him., and that is where they came up with those fantastic shadows, lighting and camera angles. Maybe this is a common idea, I don't know, either way the idea was genius or the photographer maybe both.
