God works in mysterious Ways, I was asking myself the same question. I would be happy to live in a Church, with Confession and the Holy Sacraments and Jesus. With kindness and Compassion. Sadly I am unable to find anyone to take me, I should have asked at Lourdes, or A Church near Ancona, but I am in to much pain now to travel.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." 1 John 5:14-15 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him." Finally we would like to encourage you, do not give up or feel defeated no matter what your teenage grandchildren may do or say. You are planting seeds for eternity in their minds. The Lord will do the rest. The churches have many prodigal children. God bless you
There is something that has always stumped me about what Jesus said to the man who called Him “good teacher”. When Jesus replied, “Why do you call me good, God alone is good”, but then we are told He lived a sinless life, then how could His statement that “God alone is good” be true? Am I missing something?😳

He just tested the young man's definition of good. Jesus didn't say he wasn't good. He was qualifying the standard of good. That is why he asked if the young man knows about the commandments. The young man then answers he follows all of it from his youth. And so he thinks he's good. But Jesus continued and said that he lacked something. And He exposed the young man's standard of goodness. Jesus knew the young man was not willing to sell his possessions and give it to the poor. So his standard of goodness was not on God's level of goodness, and therefore not enough.
